Thank god lol, people on twitter and tiktok were praising the romances so much, i thought i was the weird one.

Yeah, but i also've been talking about the scenes that were filmed but got cut out, like the one where bullies try to corner Sieun in the toilet but Suho prevents them from doing that. Scenes like that.

A girl? He was much more jealous cause of Sieun than Yeong I, cause Suho valued Sieun's friendship more.

I feel it's cause some stuff from the webtoon was missing, but i can't be sure, cause i didn't read it. But The Streets say that some things were cut out so it could fit into eight episodes.

i'm glad you don't have it "Here", whatever that means, but lots and lots of countries have schools like that. European, asian, african. And if your school was fine, or if your expirience was fine, doesn't mean that others expirience was too. I am born and raised in a "Highly intelligent" european country, and Korea is considered to be highly intelligent too. And we still face those problems. Easy to blame others when you didn't face problems like that.

This is not glorifying, this is showing openly how the opressed becomes the opressor. THIS is how it's happening in real life. And it's still not as graphic as it could've been. People in my school were beaten up by bullies so hard you could see bones poking out of a broken limb. It's not pretty, but it is realistic. And people need to see it, and aknowledge it, otherwise, you're turning a blind eye on the problem, considering that bullying to the point of sui cide is a MAJOR problem in Korea.

Do you know how much there is violence happening around you? It deserves to be talked about, too. But i guess people like you would rather close their eyes and look away. Typical.

I'm glad that it's getting more and more popular, but i'm afraid that the "normie" crowd is already getting weird over it.... Sometimes it feels like most people can only handle romance k dramas, and complain about literally anything else 😬

Listen, i don't know much about the Hyper Knife, but Weak Hero Class is not about "over the top violence", and people do not praise WHC for it. It's specifically about how you need to stand up against such violence, or it gets worse. People love WHC not because of the " Blood lust", but because people sympathize with the stories about bullying. Especially people who used to be in those situations or in schools like that. And yeah, more often than not, bullying does leads to such extremes. Speaking form expirience. What i'm saying is, before spitting nonsense, watch the show.

Ikr? I had to ignore so much videos cause they kept pushing the "Poor misunderstood Su Hyeon" agenda, but at least every edit that i get of this show now is about Seong and Daon lol.

The stalking part is sooo ridiculous because what do you mean a lot of people genuinely came to this conclusion. Because they met ONCE and then the second time 12 years after? They don't even remember each other ffs.

I mean not a problem to me 😭 i have a good memory and I'm a quick typer.

Very briefly: Jaemin wakes up at the hospital after stabbing himself. He meets Su Hyeon at the street, who's beginning to realise that he's loosing control, and pleads to team up with Jaemin to bring Daon back, but Jaemin refuses, and says that he's gonna move on and packs his things and "leaves". Su Hyeon tries to patch up things with Daon again in his usual aggressive way, but falls flat, and after that starts to spread out rumors about Daon. After a falling out due to Daon's avoidant behaviour, Seong Hyeon reflects on their relationship and refuses to continue pursuing Daon. However, after seeing Daon hurting, he realises that he can't just stand around doing nothing, and gets on friendly terms with him again. It is implied that Daon wants to try to confess to him again after their projects presentation, but he gets kidnapped.
At the end of the episode there is a flashback of Su Hyeon, Jaemin and Daon celebrating Christmas in a cabin in the woods.
In episode eight, it is revealed that the kidnapper is Jaemin, and he holds him hostage in the same cabin. He plays a mock up wedding with Daon, saying that they're gonna live "together forever in another place".
Seong Hyeon notices that Daon is missing, and suspects that Su Hyeon is at fault, and after a brief argument, they begin to search for Daon together.
Jaemin tries murder-suicide by setting the cabin on fire, but Seong Hyeon and Su Hyeon get there just in time, and Seong gets stabbed trying to protect Daon.
While Seong is being operated, Su Hyeon realises that he's a piece of shit, and says that it's a good thing if both Daon and him will move on.
At the hospital, Daon finally confesses to Seong, and they enter relationship, however briefly, cause Daon needs to leave for a whole ass year for his international project. Before he does, we are showed their relationship's montage, and how Seong gifts him engagement rings before his departure.
And the very end, they happily reunite again, and after that they show a flashback to 12 years in the past, which revealed that it was Seong and not Jaemin who got to meet Daon first, that Seong helped him out cause he passed out at the street from fatigue. The end.
Edit: Forgot to mention that police got called at Jaemins ass and he's arrested. Where he's at, a mental hospital or jail, it is not revealed, however, he mockingly brags that at least he was the "first".

I feel like a lot of people defend him or his actions simply because they find him attractive. As a woman with no attraction to men whatsoever, it was easier to not overlook all of his "flaws" (abusive traits ahem) cause "but he's sooooo hot". This is a regular occurrence, when a man is forgiven because of his looks.
But, not surprisingly, it's wayyyy harder to admit than doing mental gymnastics to convince others that he's actually a good person and is just misunderstood 🥺

I'm pretty sure he was crying because he was hurt and traumatised, and when he finally had a break, he allowed himself to cry, understanding just how much he was hurt by Su Hyeon' and Jaemins actions. Tis' wasn't tears of lost love, but tears of a hurt person.

How did you escalate to THAT conclusion 😭 nah, i imagine that that they just met briefly and Seong dragged him to the hospital, and that's all. Cause judging by his reaction to meeting Daon again, he didn't remember him.

What about Love in The big City (The TV series one, not film) tho? You cannot call it a bl, per say, because it's more of a queer series, but it was fantastic.

The show ended on a happy note, with two people who genuinely care for each other being together, but some people here and on TT are still upset that Su Hyeon DESERVINGLY didn't get to be chosen 💔 we are cooked.

"Redemption arc" he just froze in place while a real knight in shining armour did all the work 🥀 and then his half assed apology...nah, f him.
