I'm pretty sure he was crying because he was hurt and traumatised, and when he finally had a break, he allowed himself to cry, understanding just how much he was hurt by Su Hyeon' and Jaemins actions. Tis' wasn't tears of lost love, but tears of a hurt person.

I don't remember the dates correctly, but Jaemin and Daon met in highschool, Su Hyeon at college, and it seems like Daon met Seong Hyeon in the middle school :) So, yeah, they met first.

My girlfriend doesn't even watch the show, just sees the snippets of it on TikTok, and even she could tell that BOTH of Those™ psychos are irredeemable bastards. It's really funny how some people are being fr about a "redemption arc" for Su Hyeon. What redemption are we talking about? He sees that his way doesn't work out, but instead of changing himself, he doubles down and hopes it works this time. He doesn't want to change. Naw, you're right. It seems exciting when you're a teenager, but the older you get, the more you understand that this kind of "love" will only end up in bruises, if not worse. And it's hard to look at it and think "wow, so romantic".
