Why have you idiots rate bombed this already????It’s been one episode!
Antis do it all the time. They did the same thing with The Heart Killers because it premiered around the same time as the Jack and Joker finale. It's almost like they have a grudge against GMMTV shows lol.
Guys, what accent Mo was referring to when he said he was not comfortable talking to others during their probation…
I think he's referring to the fact that, because he's from Lampang, he grew up speaking the northern Thai dialect, which is different from those in Bangkok, who speaks standard Thai. That might cause some miscommunication or misunderstanding because the accents and pronounciations are different.
FYI: Mix, the actor who plays Mo, is actually from Lampang, and he encountered the same challenge when he moved to Bangkok. It's interesting to see they've written that into the show.
I'm loving where this show is headed. It felt dragged at first, but it gives you time to figure out what's happening in the storyline, both past and present. There's so much happening on and off stage, but the sequences aren't jumbled up. I've seen Thai shows where everything is so mixed up that I get confused, but that didn't happen here. So, props to the director and crew. I'll be disappointed if this show doesn't win an award or two.
EarthMix and Jennie OST - Stucklinghttps://youtu.be/8WJjEc8p0ygI'm cracking the fuck up at how unserious this…
And if anyone reads the lyrics, they're about to discover the amount of innuendos embedded in this song. It's pretty catchy, and frankly, very Earthmix style lol. Add Jennie in the mix, and it's one chaotic, boundary-pushing song.
Sorry, daddy! Sorry, Why is he so good looking in this version?? xx
ikr? I thought Kenny Wong, the ossan from the HK remake, was already one handsome man, then along comes Krit, who pretty much topped the list lol. He's also the youngest ossan in this franchise.
Will Earth and Mix ever get a series longer than 10 episodes?
I don't think it has to do with the actors, but the series itself. Ossan's Love is a pretty straightforward and fast-paced story. Anything more than 10 episodes and it's gonna feel dragged.
Monday slot??? What is up with GMMTV giving their most hyped projects with huge potentials, weekday slots?? 😔…
I'm not thrilled about the time slot, either. On top of that, it won't be on YouTube. So it's gonna be like Cherry Magic. You can only watch it on GMM25 or Viu. Though on another note, given how popular the franchise is, combined with EarthMix's fanbase, they just might make it work. I guess we'll wait and see.
Maybe it's because I'm an American, but I cannot for the LIFE of me understand why this horrible story has been…
I don't think it's an American thing. The manga came out in the 90's at a time when these types of storylines were the trend. The original Taiwanese TV series came out in 2001, and it was a smash hit all across Asia. Since then, Japan/Korea/China have tried to adapt it, but it either came out cringey or just plain stupid. Not sure what GMMTV was thinking at the time when they annouced their own adaptation 20+ years after the original came out, but the whole 'billionaire boy falls for poor girl and changes for the better' trope is pretty outdated at this point.
Its been 3 days since they finished filming and still no trailer or announcement.
If they just finished filming, then it's likely to be in post-production. So it might take some time. There's already speculations that it'll be out in Jan/Feb 2025 along with Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist. Or, if we're lucky, we might get to see it around Christmastime.
Just watched the first episode and so far, I'm loving it. They took their time to build the setting, slowly exploring life in the rural areas, and how caring for a terminally ill family members affects those around them. Even those who are financially stable struggle to find the right care for their chronically/terminally ill family members, so you can imagine how difficult it is for those in rural areas, where medical care and resources are limited. Not much romance going on (yet), but I'm more interested in how they will present the mystery. Then, of course, the OST. You can never go wrong with Nont Tanont.
I sure hope this series will happen next year, not because of the OffDewGun triangle, but because burnout is very real in our society today. It's becoming a huge concern, yet not many people are talking about it.
FYI: Mix, the actor who plays Mo, is actually from Lampang, and he encountered the same challenge when he moved to Bangkok. It's interesting to see they've written that into the show.
This is the first time I've ever heard of a parent leaving the house because their kid refuses to move out rofl.
Looking forward to episode two next week!
