people criticizing Dunk for his 'cringe' and 'ridiculous' acting clearly have a few screws loose if you can't…
Tbh, I did find his character a bit cringey, but it's NOT bad acting or bad character personality. It's just the shift between his previous character (high school student) and this one (car mechanic) is pretty huge, and it took some time to get use to it. I actually thought Dunk's acting has improved with each role, and while he still has a long way to go, you can see he's getting better. This role will help prepare him for when he plays Khamin in Dare You to Death.
still havent started but what is going on with the ratings AHAHHAA, they are in a storm. Can't wait to start watching…
Some Jack & Joker fans weren't happy with how the premiere of this series overshadowed their season finale, which is stupid, considering they aired on different days. Nontheless, they decided to "get even" by coming here and dropping low ratings, and I guess some Joongdunk fans countered it by giving unaired episodes high scores in hopes of boosting the ratings.
I sure hope this isn't gonna turn into a problem. I liked both shows, and it's ridiculous some are saying THK ripped off J&J.
Some Jack and Joker fans aren't happy with the fact that The Heart Killers came first as the most-watched series…
The whole thing is ridiculous. JJ fans claimed that the THK premiere overshadowed the finale, which is why viewership wasn't as good as it used to be. The funny thing is, the two shows don't even air on the same day, so their claims pretty much nonsense.
Why the low rating? This series is so entertaining and well made so far.
Some Jack and Joker fans aren't happy with the fact that The Heart Killers came first as the most-watched series on iQIYI, and bumped Jack and Joker down to 3rd place. so, some of them are purposely coming here to drop a low rating on the show.
I can't wait to find out how Style is gonna react once he discovered the guy he's been flirting with is actually a cold-blooded assassin. Kant might need to add some additional incentives alongside his dad's car. XD
Better than putting them in school uniforms lol...
Well, Dunk went from being a college student (Star in my Mind/Hidden Agenda) to a high school student (Summer Night) to a car mechanic (The Heart Killers) to a police inspector (Dare You To Death). All the while, he hasn't aged one bit. XD I'd say the 18-30 jump definitely applies to him.
Change2561 is also planning to adapt another one of MTRD.S' novels named Goddess Bess You From Death, with Pavel and Pooh. So I'm really excited to see how both series will turn out.

That's because in the last two years, about 80-90% of GMMTV series were set in high school or college. So yeah, it's quite a jump, but a necessary one. Given a majority of their artists are in the mid-late 20's, and some even in their 30's, fans are gonna riot if they release another lineup of mostly school dramas.
Ooh, backstage theater drama is the best. And finally! A series that doesn't involve Earthmix toughing it out in the countryside. I wonder if they'll bring back any of the original cast, or at least have some of them do a cameo or something.
I couldn't help but laugh at that interrogation scene with Drake and Dunk. One is a college student, and the other is a police inspector. Yet, in real life, they're both 24. I brought this up with my friend who was watching the live stream with me, and she was like, "Dunk skipped several grades and graduated early... and he got promoted, a lot!" XD
I really hope they get enough backers to start filming soon.
GMMTV 2025 lineup is super ambitious. I don't know if we'll get to see all of the shows on free or subscription TV, but I'm just so glad they finally come to their senses and scale back on their school-themed series. I'm getting sick of seeing twenty and thirty-something artists pretending to be high school and college students.
The Heart Killers just premiered and already, JoongDunk and FirstKhaotung are gonna be in another series in 2025/2026. Watching GMMTV 2025 Riding The Wave right now and I gotta say, they're REALLY ambitious this season. Still, while I'm happy that they're finally laying off the school-themed drama, WHAT THE HECK is up with their obsession with supernatural? I count at least three series involving tarot cards lmao.
Initially, I thought this was a GL version of The Sign (with Billy and Babe), but it's not the same. The first episode is good. I'm looking forward to see how it goes.
