His acting has improved in this series.

I actually thought he did a good job with the reunion scene. While some may find it weird that he's acting so familiar with his doppelganger's mom, I didn't have a problem with it. They both found comfort in each other's presence as they've both lost someone precious to them. I teared up when doppelganger mom hugged him and then repeated the same words his own mother said in his flashback. Overall, I liked that part.

Acting-wise, Nat is doing much better. Still not consistent, but I see potential in him. Plus, he's only 21, so it'll take time to accumulate experience. I do wish DMD will let him do more challenging roles. He could really benefit from it. Funny thing though, in this series, I see improvement when he's acting with anyone but Max. I'm not sure if it's because right now, their characters are not together and Kram is pining after Phupha, but that's just me.

Gun has been cast in a lead role in an upcoming BL series called Iridescent Love. Not sure when it'll be out, but hopefully, we can see him leading in a drama soon. He's a really good actor.

In the first episode, it's mentioned that Ran is adopted, so technically, she and Phupha have no blood relations.

MaxNat probably won't get closer until later in the series. Right now, one is grieving over his dead lover and trying to keep his doppelganger alive, while the other is also grieving over his dead lover while trying not to fall in love with his doppelganger (and failing miserably).

Not sure what production was thinking, but the whole ninja-wannabe getup felt more comical than horrifying. Either they have really good bullet-proof vests, or it must be something in the water. XD

The composer is Boy Sompob. The first time I listen to 'Too Late,' I didn't get the same vibe as ATOTS since they're singing about different things, but I guess since they both used traditional Thai instruments in their songs, some people may think they sound similar?

There's still no switching worlds. Even though it's similar to what happened in World 2, it's still a flashback in world 1 because Kram wasn't there. That's why Phupha was able to get his uncle to a hospital and save his life, and in the process, learned the truth about his parentage. As a result, he didn't drive off to confront his stepfather and later get himself killed.

Yeah, the editing is not done very well. I actually had to pause several times to figure out what's happening.

OMG this is so cute. Who doesn't love a "when introvert meets extrovert" romance? I hope they'll be able to make this series happen.

I'm sure he cares, though I think it's like you mentioned, old habits die hard. That's why I'm glad that right now, he and Max aren't playing a couple. For some reason, it seems like his acting is consistent as long as it isn't with Max, but when he's with Max, you can tell he's struggling. Character-wise though, I woudl say this role suits him. The whole simple village guy whose life is turned upside when his lover died, and then he accidentally travel (swam) to another universe where everything is different from the life he once knew. While there's still room for improvement, you can tell he's making an effort in the BTS clips.

He played Jamnan, one of the students who protested against wearing school uniforms.

There was no switching worlds. It's just Tai having a flashback of him finding Kram dead years ago when he saw Kram2 and Phupha on the ground. I'm guessing the purpose of that scene was to give viewers some insights as to why Tai is so distant yet helpful to Kram2, but the whole sequence is so rushed that it could be confusing.

I laughed so hard! It's really good to see Pak again. He looks so different from when he starred in The Eclipse. I almost didn't recognize him.

Man, Tai has it rough. His lover Kram was killed by his own father. Then, he meets parallel world Kram, whose presence probably drudged up a lot of sad memories for him. Worse, this version of Kram is in love with someone else. He's trying to keep his distance, but he can't stay away. Can't even imagine the emotional rollercoaster he's going through.

In the novel, Joe got into a fatal accident, and woke up 2-3 years later in another person's body. Coincidentally, the person whose body he woke up in is also named Joe, and apparently, they shared some physical features. Which is why later, when he re-encountered the people he'd worked with in his previous life, they also felt a connection to him, due to the same name and similarity in personality and mannerism.

He didn't travel to a universe. It's still the same world, just that 2-3 years had past, so he witnessed how his death had affected the people around him, especially Ming.

Wow, YYDS is on a roll. First with I Feel You Linger In The Air, and now with My Stand-In. I'm so glad they're finally adapting this into a series. i can't wait to see how this turns out!

I guess the plot thickens in episode 3 as Phupha learns who Kram and Tai really are.

To early to tell? It's only 2 episodes, though compared with Naughty Babe, there seems to be some improvement, especially with Nat. In the BTS clips, they did mention there was an acting coach on site, so maybe that's why.

Most people usually don't rate a series until they've finished watching, so I wouldn't take the current rating seriously. Plus, episodes 1 and 2 currently stand at 8.7 and 8.3, respectively, meaing feedback has been positive.

MDL ratings don't mean much. Plus, it's only 2 episodes in, so as more people watch it, the rating will change.

Well, when DMD announced the series and who'll be in it, fans have more or less viewed this as a MaxNat series, so... *shrug

Plus, it's not like they've only been working with each other. Max was recently in Marry's Mission, while Nat has been cast in an upcoming drama called Illusion. So, CP or not, it's good that they're also doing their own thing.

IFYLITA was top-notched quality in pretty much all aspects, so even though they cut the novel into half most fans weren't disappointed. They're just bummed that there might not be a season 2 to explore the other time-traveling storyline.
