Will I watch this? Yes. BUTI just don't see Nat as a grown up & that's my disconnect. He is every bit his height…
Annnnnddddd I'm out of popcorn. Man, there's more drama here than a lakorn.
Regarding what you said about MaxNat, I just realized that when they first worked together in Why R U, Nat was 18 and Max was 27. I didn't think much about it at the time, but now that you mentioned it, I guess the age gap could be off-putting for some people. Personally, 9 years isn't that big of a gap, but that's just my opinion.
On the other hand, based on the Two Worlds novel, there is an age gap between Tai (Max) and Kram (Nat), so I guess in this case, their age gap does work in their favor.
Soundtrack by OST King Boy Sompob - Too Late. Available on all streaming platforms. It has “A Tale of Thousand…
You can never go wrong with Boy Sompob. I absolutely love his songs. While I didn't get ATOTS vibes (though I guess the flute parts might be reminiscent to that), the lyrics is absolutely beautiful. So even if the series falls short of expectations, the soundtrack more than makes up for it.
I can understand Einstein's theories better than this plot description
I watched the pilot, and I have no idea what the series is about. Then, I watched both trailers, and I still have no idea what the series is about. A Youtuber who has read the novel gave a fairly brief outline of what the story is about. Even she said there are too many elements and subplots in the book, so she only focused on the Kram/Tai/Phupha love triangle and skipped everything else. Based on what she has said, I have a feeling production has made a lot of changes in order to fit the story into 10 episodes. She went as far as to recommend viewers read the book because the storyline is quite beautiful (in an angsty type of way). While I'm not sure how the series will turn out, I do look forward to watching it.
I'm glad he's leaving the industry. The Chinese entertainment industry is rotten to the core, and it's obvious that the way his agency treated him has taken a toll on his health. I hope he'll finally be able to get some rest, and take the time to re-evaluate his future. Wishing him all the best.
Most companies won't intentionally break up a CP since the last thing they wanna do is destroy a money-making machine. However, I would like to see them mix up the actors in series to show some versatility. After all, actors cannot improve their acting skills if they're limited to working only with their CP.
The novel has a pretty complex storyline, so I wonder how they're going to fit everything into 10 episodes. But it looks good visual-wise, so I guess... wait and see?
It's not controversial. The series isn't perfect, and obviously, there are things they could've done better in…
Well, I guess to each its own? I mean, they messed up in some aspects, but there are still some good things. Personally, I think the pros outweigh the cons, but of course, everyone feels differently about the show.
Controversial opinion - i actually didn't like it much. It was chaotic, lots of things unexplained, lots of uneccessary…
It's not controversial. The series isn't perfect, and obviously, there are things they could've done better in order to make the show better. I would also point out that production was ambitious and wanted to make something that's different from your typical BL show. They wanted to showcase a lot of things, but seemed to struggle to make it more structured, which is probably why some parts came across as rushed and chaotic.
I liked the mythological theme mixed with reincarnation and set in the modern world, but I wished they could be more organized with the plot. Hopefully, Saint and his team will listen to feedback from fans and viewers and do better in their future projects.
Triage is awesome. It just so happens that all three books (Manner of Death, Triage and Euthanasia) are set in…
I don't think Tul retired from acting. He just went to study abroad. I believe he got his Masters degree last year? Plus, he's gonna be in The Ocean Eyes with Mew, who's also the executive producer. Based on some of his recent interviews, it doesn't sound like he's leaving the industry anytime soon.
Don't know if there'll be a MaxTul cameo, but I believe Dr. Bun is featured in the novel, so it'll be cool to see him in the series.
the show snatched my attention because of its star studded roster. I am curious why one of the main leads (and…
It's not uncommon for series to recast an actor or make changes to the cast. Recently, James withdraw from Love Upon A Time to focus on his music career. Plus, we don't know why Maiake dropped out. Maybe he got tired of waiting, or maybe he wanted to focus on his career as a vet. Either ways, I see no reason why he should put his plans on hold for a potential series.
Since you mentioned Big Dragon, I'm gonna go ahead and say production didn't f--- up the series. The novel is almost 90% smut and with a sh**** plot. Sure hope the writers got a huge paycheck because they added a lot of scenes to save the series from becoming an all-time flop.
I wonder why he dropped out like that? I’ve heard in the comments that they’ve only filmed the trailer using…
Based on what he posted on X, it sounded like he has withdrawn from the project for quite some time, but has yet to make an announcement about it (until 3 days ago). As for why he dropped out, it's anyone's guess. Maybe he got tired of waiting on the project, or he wants to focus on his career (either as an artist or as a vet). Either ways, I wish him all the best.
As for the status of the series, if there's any truths to Maiake's IG story, then chances are the project has been put on hold, but whether that's indefinite or not remains to be seen.
Idk but Chalaton letting Tharn go at the end just felt a little off to me. I get that it took Tharn a lot of convincing…
The whole series started to rush at around episode 7-8. It's like they're so eager to cram as much drama into the series that they've neglected the pacing. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that Tharn and Phaya reunited, but the events leading to the ending feels choppy to me.
This isn't the first time I've seen Thai dramas lose its appeal because of the pace. I wonder if it's a Thai trait. That they're so afraid of the storyline getting boring that they feel the need to add lots of drama, and they don't care if it disrupts the flow of the show, or if the pace feels like a rollercoaster.
Triage is awesome. It just so happens that all three books (Manner of Death, Triage and Euthanasia) are set in the same universe, so I wonder if Tan and Dr. Bun will also make a cameo in this series like they did in Triage.
Jaylerr did 3 bls what are you even talking about??
Regardless of whether or not Tor and JJ have done BL dramas in the past, it doesn't change the fact that both are seasoned actors with a versatile resume. Some delulu BL fans really need to wake up and realize that these are just acting roles, and they're just jobs to the actors. The fact that some believe they need to become a CP is just ridiculous.
The problem lies in the fact that an actor who acted in BL is immediately classified as a BL actor, I feel like…
Typecasting exists everywhere, not just in the BL/GL genre. But yeah, I notice it seems more apparent in Asian BL/GL mostly because agencies form CPs to appeal to young fans, which in turn, creates a misconception that BL actors are limited to doing only BL roles, and non-BL actors can't do BL roles. It's ridiculous, but unfortunately, it's a delusion the entertainment industry has created to maximize profits.
It's a bit shame for Eunho and ML's sister, we didn't see them be together even in time jump, yes i know she confessed…
I was also bummed about not seeing Jihyuk's stepmom, but in the series, they made it sound as if he didn't like her given she was his father's mistress, so I guess if she did show up, it would be awkward.
I'd hoped for more Eunho and Heeyeon interaction in the final episode, but whatever scenes they had were just plain cute. I couldn't stop smiling. Sure gonna miss them.
