The production team of this series is total nonsense! never heard of having the plot and teaser with different…
Um, it's not misleading. In fact, it's pretty common. A pilot trailer isn't a confirmation of the series. It's just a demo of a potential series. Sometimes, there's a change in the cast. Other times, the series gets cancelled before it even begins. That's why I usually don't take them seriously until they release an OFFICIAL trailer.
If the information I've found is correct, the main roles have been given to other actors, not the ones from the…
They got Folk and Ben to film the pilot trailer, but the fact that MGY released a casting video shortly afterwards is an indication that those two might not be in the series. Also, looking at the cast, it looks like production wanted to use rookies instead of seasoned actors, as this is the first drama for most of the cast members, with the exception of Tian.
can you tell me what makjang means? i have no clue and a lot of people are saying that after this ep
One way to describe Makjang would be Korean soap opera. It's nothing but over-the-top drama, exaggerated expressions, and the slowest camera pans you'd ever see. Think The Heirs, Penthouse, SKY Castle, or if you want something older, Stairway to Heaven and That Winter, The Wind Blows.
People seem to keep forgetting what kind of drama they're watching. It's a ridiculous story about getting cheated…
It wasn't until Yura shows up that the show starts to head towards the Makjang direction, but before that, the series didn't feel like Makjang to me. While BoA's acting is still questionable (she really isn't fit to be an actress imo), I do like how the show is deviating from both the webtoon and webnovel to create its own storyline. While it's good that they stayed close to the webtoon in the beginning, viewers could find the plot boring and predictable if they keep following it, especially since most of the viewers have likely already read the webtoon.
Its realistic, but if i wanted to watch something realistic i would have watched a documentary. Also PMR does not…
Just ignore 'em. This isn't the first butthurt user to come here and try to spread negativity and they certainly won't be the last. Perfect Marriage Revenge isn't even shot in the same style as Marry My Husband, yet here they are, trying to drag down MMH simply because PMR was practically a flop. I seriously don't understand what they're thinking. When PMR aired back in 2023, it was competing against Castaway Diva, and they lost by an epic proportion. Yet, instead of heading over to the CD page, they're coming here and finding any excuse they possibly can to make MMH look bad. Talk about being a misguided delulu. *smh
Perfect Marriage Revenge feels like better drama than Marry My Husband in terms of better story, characters, OST…
Perfect Marriage Revenge is a Makjang Kdrama, which is known for their over-the-top plots, dramatic plot twists, and hilariously exaggerated (imo) acting. Think Boys Over Flowers, The Last Empress, and more recently, The Penthouse. Some people find them appealing because of their complex storlines and the intricate relationships and history between the characters. Not to mention, they often have plots that revolve around social injustice, family secrets, and redemption, which many Koreans love. That being said, they can come across as unrealistic and just plain dramatic, without much depth. However, viewers have different opinions on that.
I've watched both, and obviously, they have their good and bad points. However, this is really less about which drama is better, and more about which type of kdrama you prefer. I understand you're just trying to suggest another similar kdrama just in case some viewers feel MMH is lacking in some aspects, but in the future, it would help to be more mindful of how you word your suggestion (good thing that you edited your comment).
It is a BL, why some people said it's not? Though I don't really care if it is BL or not, the teaser looks amazing…
Sammon's works are known to put more focus on the plot and medical themes. Romance tends to come second. If the crew is going for the same style as Manner of Death and Triage, then yes, there'll be romance, but probably not as much as what you normally see in other Thai BL series. That's probably why some people are saying it isn't BL. Plus, both Tor and JJ are straight and in a relationship, so there are some who are saying it isn't BL because there's no CP. *eyeroll
I do hope they'll focus more on the plot, though. Euthanasia is a controversial topic, but it's something that more people should discuss. Back in college, we did a group discussion on this topic in my ethics class, and it shocked me to see just how ignorant and close-minded people are towards euthanasia.
The novel has BL romance, though the main focus is on the murder mystery. Sammon's works tend to put the romance secondary with the primary focus on the mystery. Just because Tor and JJ are both straight and in a relationship doesn't mean they can't do BL, so I'm not sure why this user is saying they won't do it.
It is worth watching, if you like action as well as "supernatural" back stories. For me the story is about the…
Triage is a good one to check out. It's written by the same author who wrote Manner of Death. Sort of a mix of medical drama, mystery, romance and supernatural.
I seriously wanna slap those two cops. Really? Jiwon smashes a table and you restrain her, but when Jooran's cheating husband shoves her onto the broken glasses you just stand there and do absolutely nothing?!? Gosh, dumb and dumber, how useless can you two be? Talk about a total waste of taxpayer's money.
Boa's acting is below par and it really drags the show down for me, it seems a bit stiff? Maybe it's just that…
She's definitely struggling. In the last episode, she was trying to come across as this cold and manipulative elitist, but it fell short. Her face was as stiff as a cardboard. I actually thought her character came to life in episode 13 during that boxing scene with Minhwan, but that was pretty much it. She was back to cardboard face afterwards. I honestly can't tell if it's the plastic surgery or maybe she doesn't understand the character.
Don't get me wrong. I've been a fan of BoA for over a decade, but she seriously needs to take more acting classes if she wants to continue being an actress.
in my opinion this is not the best off/gun has done! I mainly watching for neo/aungpao and Dom and Tum! I am loving…
Don't know about you, but I outgrew their uni phase after Theory of Love, and I seriously thought they would be doing shows with more mature themes after Not Me. While this is a cute show, it's hard to take them as students when they're both in their 30's. They still look young, but when you put them next to Neo and Aungpao, the age gap is so obvious.
Hopefully, they'll bring something different in The Trainee.
Yura may be batsh*t crazy, but she did one good thing on the show: pushing Jiwon and Jihyuk even closer together. It's going to be interesting to see how the two of them team up to get rid of all the villains once and for all.
I feel like the show is venturing into uncharted territories with the hint of Yoora turning into a killer. This isn't in the webnovel, is it? I heard she's a psycho-biatch in the novel, but don't think I've heard of her being a murderer. Did anyone hear or read otherwise?
idol factory has had a live viewing for the last episode+ dropping the ep two weeks later for both of their previous…
Just ignore them. This user has a tendency to go around and whine about anything that requires money lol. I honestly don't know what their problem is. It's not like Idol Factory is withholding the finale unless we pay to watch it. If you pay, you get to watch it yesterday, and watch the live event as well. If you don't, you can watch it two weeks later. Apparently, this dude doesn't wanna pay, but still wants to watch it right away. The level of entitlement... *smh
