The novel has BL romance, though the main focus is on the murder mystery. Sammon's works tend to put the romance secondary with the primary focus on the mystery. Just because Tor and JJ are both straight and in a relationship doesn't mean they can't do BL, so I'm not sure why this user is saying they won't do it.

Triage is a good one to check out. It's written by the same author who wrote Manner of Death. Sort of a mix of medical drama, mystery, romance and supernatural.

She's definitely struggling. In the last episode, she was trying to come across as this cold and manipulative elitist, but it fell short. Her face was as stiff as a cardboard. I actually thought her character came to life in episode 13 during that boxing scene with Minhwan, but that was pretty much it. She was back to cardboard face afterwards. I honestly can't tell if it's the plastic surgery or maybe she doesn't understand the character.

Don't get me wrong. I've been a fan of BoA for over a decade, but she seriously needs to take more acting classes if she wants to continue being an actress.

Don't know about you, but I outgrew their uni phase after Theory of Love, and I seriously thought they would be doing shows with more mature themes after Not Me. While this is a cute show, it's hard to take them as students when they're both in their 30's. They still look young, but when you put them next to Neo and Aungpao, the age gap is so obvious.

Hopefully, they'll bring something different in The Trainee.

Yura may be batsh*t crazy, but she did one good thing on the show: pushing Jiwon and Jihyuk even closer together. It's going to be interesting to see how the two of them team up to get rid of all the villains once and for all.

I feel like the show is venturing into uncharted territories with the hint of Yoora turning into a killer. This isn't in the webnovel, is it? I heard she's a psycho-biatch in the novel, but don't think I've heard of her being a murderer. Did anyone hear or read otherwise?

Just ignore them. This user has a tendency to go around and whine about anything that requires money lol. I honestly don't know what their problem is. It's not like Idol Factory is withholding the finale unless we pay to watch it. If you pay, you get to watch it yesterday, and watch the live event as well. If you don't, you can watch it two weeks later. Apparently, this dude doesn't wanna pay, but still wants to watch it right away. The level of entitlement... *smh

Gonna rewatch ep. 1-11 while waiting for the finale to be uploaded onto YT because I'm definitely not ready to say goodbye to this series.

I believe they left room for a season 2 since there's still the Jom/Commander Yai storyline to explore, but so far, it hasn't been officially confirmed. However, you can read about it in the novel. It has been translated into both English and Chinese. It's definitely different from the Jom/Khun Yai storyline, and if anything, I think Commander Yai is much more intense (since he's a warrior), but that's just me.

Has anyone read the novel "Premonition" in which The Sign is based on? I hear it's been translated into English, but haven't had the chance to read it. Someone on Reddit said they started out staying pretty close to the novel, but then completely deviated from it. Wondering if there's any truth to that.

The finale will be stream live, so I'm not sure if there'll be subtitles, and I don't see any information about that on the ticketing website. However, it will be available on YouTube one week later, so I'm sure by then, they would've put in subtitles.

What you've described is pretty much what happens to every other show out there that's doing well. There'll always be idiots who feel the need to sh*t on something and anything to make themselves feel good, regardless of whether or not they've watched the show. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what they think, but what you think. Don't let those people affect your enjoyment of the show.

I've been following BoA's career for over a decade, and I can honestly say her acting career so far has been flat. Her cameos and guest appearances don't leave much room for character development, and her attempt to break into Hollywood was a flop. Some would say she's not good at acting, but personally, I think the roles SM got for her aren't a good fit for her. It's about time that they go in a different direction and let her play a villain role. I saw the preview and my first reaction was, "Finally! SM is letting BoA act."

That's a red flag right there. MIL showed her controling tendencies by choosing the wedding venue, printing the couple's wedding invitations, selecting Soomin's wedding dress, accessories, and her makeup without consulting her. Heck, she even picked their honeymoon place. Yet, Soomin was so hellbent on beating Jiwon that she ignored all the signs.

They did at first, until she "lost" the baby. Then, MIL became a frickin' she-devil.
