I believe they left room for a season 2 since there's still the Jom/Commander Yai storyline to explore, but so far, it hasn't been officially confirmed. However, you can read about it in the novel. It has been translated into both English and Chinese. It's definitely different from the Jom/Khun Yai storyline, and if anything, I think Commander Yai is much more intense (since he's a warrior), but that's just me.

Has anyone read the novel "Premonition" in which The Sign is based on? I hear it's been translated into English, but haven't had the chance to read it. Someone on Reddit said they started out staying pretty close to the novel, but then completely deviated from it. Wondering if there's any truth to that.

What you've described is pretty much what happens to every other show out there that's doing well. There'll always be idiots who feel the need to sh*t on something and anything to make themselves feel good, regardless of whether or not they've watched the show. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what they think, but what you think. Don't let those people affect your enjoyment of the show.

I've been following BoA's career for over a decade, and I can honestly say her acting career so far has been flat. Her cameos and guest appearances don't leave much room for character development, and her attempt to break into Hollywood was a flop. Some would say she's not good at acting, but personally, I think the roles SM got for her aren't a good fit for her. It's about time that they go in a different direction and let her play a villain role. I saw the preview and my first reaction was, "Finally! SM is letting BoA act."

MIL showed her controling tendencies by choosing the wedding venue, printing the couple's wedding invitations, selecting Soomin's wedding dress, accessories, and her makeup without consulting her. Heck, she even picked their honeymoon place. Yet, Soomin was so hellbent on beating Jiwon that she ignored all the signs.

They did at first, until she "lost" the baby. Then, MIL became a frickin' she-devil.

Yeah, I didn't like how the series portrayed that. They didn't apologize to her for what they did in the past. They did apologize to her in the webtoon. It wasn't FTF, but at least they acknowledged what they did to her and expressed shame over their actions. Kinda bummed that they didn't show that in the series.

The world needs more Heeyeon. She is such a firecracker. I laughed when Eunho said she looks like her brother, and she was like, "That's an insult!"

I hope the angsty episode will finally push Jihyuk to stand up to his grandfather and protect Jiwon.

I'm excited to see Yoora's appearance. It's been a while since BoA made an appearance on TV, and I sure hope the series gives us something different than the novel and webtoon.

I think you're talking about the Fan Benefits event before the live premiere of the finale? There'll be a fanmeet-type of event that starts at 1pm, where fans can meet the cast and take photos with them, maybe sign autographs before showtime at 6pm.

They've been promoting it before each episode for a couple of weeks now. I think they're 550 baht each? For the live stream, that is. If you happened to be in Bangkok and you want to watch it live, it's more expensive.

OffGun is one of those few CPs who can exude chemistry naturally. I'm not surprised by Gun's acting talent, since he's been in the entertainment industry since he was 8. Off isn't a terrible actor, but he's not as versatile as Gun.

As for Cooking Crush, it's a cute series, kind of takes me back to when they were in Puppy Honey and Theory of Love (and the lesser known I'm Tee, Me Too), but I found it hard to take them seriously this time around. I mean, they're both in their 30's, but they're still playing college kids? Hopefully, The Trainee will give us something different.

Well, he has a degree in economics, and Idol Factory isn't his first business venture. Plus, historically, Thai Chinese have been predominant in the business sector, so I wouldn't be surprised if his family also runs a business. He certainly has the brains for it.
