Ever since I learned the marketing term "framing" from Kang Naeon, I couldn't help but attempt to apply it on…
It’s false advertising. Say it’s romance to gain viewership and then do something else. I am appreciative of writer of Queen of tears, we already know it’s a melodrama which can end in tragedy.
I think you have hit the nail on this drama. It’s an almost like a social commentary on corporate greed with…
Yeah that’s also unethical advertising you know, selling a commodity (which is this drama) totally different from what they claimed just to draw in viewers. It’s absolute false advertisement. Ironic in a drama like this.
This is bulshit but I am having so much fun watching this. Also this is a very realistic yet unfortunate description…
I think you have hit the nail on this drama. It’s an almost like a social commentary on corporate greed with a mystery on the side. It’s not a romance.
Kinda agree but not fully. It's a good story but with a bitter ending.
I don’t do bitter shows… unless I go in knowing it would be bitter. They did not let us on in the beginning it would be like this so I feel cheated. And I am someone who likes tragedies such as hamlet, Anna karenina and many tragic k dramas. This is just I don’t know
Lucky are the people who never watched this show. The authors did us dirty. This reminds me of forecasting love and weather, very promising start and then total tank in the end. I am not gonna real time watch any k drama now from now on. I am also deleting my glowing 10 star review from the review 🤦♀️… this is a total washout
Can I skip the SMLs scenes without missing anything? The clingy possessiveness is too much.
Skip the drama until it ends… it devolves and tanks totally at ep 16. I am probably only going o watch on super fast forward from now since I could care less about what happens in this show anymore.
No one is giving a free pass for her behaviour. I do think she needs to be alone and not end with him. Not everything…
Exactly he does not simp for her he hates her. I don’t hate him. I actually really like his character and the actor both. To me the best resolution would be at the end of the drama, he meets a young and pretty girl his age or younger (one is who not jaded or mean) and they hit off a conversation. All I am saying is that he is not right for the female lead. She needs to have alone time without being around people who hate her and want her dead (male lead also being one of them). I just want these characters to have their happiness and peace at last but not with each other.
The male lead planned this whole body swap. So he was pretty comfortable being a woman, since he planned this…
I agree the writing should be better. The male lead straight up hates the female lead and we are at ep 18 out of ep 24. Why do writers classify this as romance when it’s clearly not a romance. It’s a revenge mystery drama. The female lead is already deep in liking with him (not love yet) but the male lead has been toying with her since he hates her. That’s not romance. It’s a twisted dysfunctional romance at best. Plus the drama authors have to end every single episode in a cliffhanger and that gets pretty tiring in only 25 mins episodes since there is no character growth. The chemistry between the leads has been totally wasted. I was loving it up until ep 14 but since then this has devolved completely. I just want it over and done with at this point.

Hmm that makes sense… I see your perspective and appreciate it. 👍 For me though in real life no matter how handsome the guy was, I would run away if he lied to me. I would even run away from potential friends if they lied to me. Its writers fault for making the male lead so irredeemable at this point.

But why does he need to be with her? He hates her and he is young and handsome. I don’t understand? They both can be happy on their own with other people eventually. They are both kind, good looking and talented. He has shown no liking for her so why should he force himself to be with her just because it’s a romance genre?

That’s because from a female perspective lying is the worst thing of all. If for example the male lead became disabled due to an accident or something, that would still be ok. If he was clear that he hated her that would be ok too. If the male lead was not as handsome and still liked jer that would be ok too. Women in general have a massive problem with lies… and he approached her with false pretences. Not saying he is bad at all. He is totally justified. He is kind and caring. But he is not good for her. She would be forever guessing “is he genuine or is he lying”. She already has psychological issues and such a relationship would be emotional hell. From the male perspective also ? What would she give him? He hates her now. He is young and super handsome. Why does he need to start a relationship with someone he has hated for so long… does it make sense?
Finally a kdrama ml genuinely loves his girlfriend, doesn't forget her and magically fall in love with fl just…
No one is giving a free pass for her behaviour. I do think she needs to be alone and not end with him. Not everything needs to be a romance. He has also been in massive trauma and the solution is healing. They both don’t belong together…but yes they both should work together to catch the culprits one for all.
This is one drama where I want to see the female lead end up alone. She is kind (hidden under layers of meanness), beautiful, loyal (she is very nice to her female boss), very talented so she can always find someone. The male lead is not good for her at all. He hates her and I don’t know how they are going to turn that around in only 6 episodes. And he does hate her for good reason, he is also not wrong. So clearly too much trauma, pain between these too. Not a good recipe for a relationship at all.
I don't know what to think right now. I am just confused a lot.My first theory is it was so eunho trying to kill…
Everyone hates our poor leading lady no? I feel so bad for her hounded by a literal ghost. Her female boss is a culprit I suspect, her former girl friend, her male friend (again I suspect), but none hate her more than the male lead who has been deceiving and gas lighting her. I suspect the main villain to be the SML. I actually wish for the female lead to find some peace, and to not start any romance with male lead since he has been lying to her and one cannot trust such a person. The only people who were nice to her were the underdog team and like you said they are too sweet. I hope 1) she is alone and not paired 2) in a new job or with the underdog team, leading projects. Male lead I wish him to find his closure and then leave the company and start a new life somewhere, since he has been in pain, and so needs peace.
I think in body swap dramas, the main leads exchanging identities at usual ending up together as I think the most,…
Female lead will end up being the friend of Kang na Eun, and since the second male lead is so perfect 1) super handsome more than male lead I think 2) super caring 3) super considerate but at the same time stalkerish I suspect he and her lady boss are going to be the main villain.

What about you what do you think? You are my fellow gal in crime (I am assuming you are a woman? ) who seems to like noona romance. Unfortunately this one is not a romance.
