My mister-esqe
I headlined this as "My Mister-esque" because, honestly, I didn’t know how else to capture the specific feeling it evokes. It is undeniably deep. It pulls you in, making you feel sorrow, warmth, and happiness, keeping you constantly emotionally engaged with what unfolds on screen. At times, you even catch yourself wondering just how long a particular actor’s monologue is going to last—or exactly how much more food he can physically keep stuffing into his face. :)The supporting cast is fantastic. Oh Jung-se, playing the male lead's nemesis-turned-friend, does a phenomenal job—as he always does. He keeps you laughing, occasionally gets under your skin, and then suddenly makes you genuinely pity him. That is a notoriously difficult balance to strike, but he pulls it off effortlessly. The rest of the ensemble performs just as well, adding substantial weight to the overall narrative.
About eight episodes in, I discovered that this was penned by the same writer behind *My Mister* and *My Liberation Notes*. It finally made sense why that train signal scene felt so suspiciously familiar! Naturally, finding this out made me worry that we might not get a neatly tied, positive ending—even though this writer’s work is famously more about the journey than the destination. Still, I was really rooting for a happy resolution here, because the story built up a premise where the characters just needed to win *once*.
**Edit:** The final episode—or at least the last few minutes—felt noticeably rushed. The pacing and placement were a bit out of sync with the rest of the story's careful build-up. Despite that slightly clumsy landing, however, I thoroughly enjoyed the immense depth of acting from the entire cast.

Love Poison Reign
This drama faithfully executes the classic C-drama checklist. We have the standard sickly-yet-omnipotent Male Lead who routinely coughs up aesthetically pleasing blood and is practically guaranteed to develop premature white hair. Opposite him is the requisite fragile-looking Female Lead—someone who looks like a stiff breeze might blow her away or like she hasn't seen a meal in days, yet somehow possesses a sky-high EQ, absolute fearlessness, and the ability to seamlessly transition into a knife-wielding, arrow-firing warrior when the plot demands it.With those mandatory tropes out of the way, the actual romance is surprisingly well-handled. It isn't forced, and it entirely avoids the "saw each other once and boom, soulmates" trap. The pacing allows both leads to have genuine, earned moments as they gradually and naturally fall for one another.
Best of all, the narrative doesn't subject you to high-blood-pressure torture. Instead of dragging out agonizing misunderstandings, the plot smartly relies on bite-sized obstacles that are neatly resolved every two to four episodes, saving the heavier, long-running intrigue for the final stretch. It is an easy, low-stress watch sprinkled with solid action, a few good laughs, and just enough tear-jerking moments to keep you invested. If you are perfectly fine with the standard C-drama playbook, this one will not disappoint.

Hyped and loud
I was very eagerly waiting for this show to telecast as Netflix tried pushing very hard on this, so far watched 4 episodes apart from first episode none of them had anything interesting after second episode , I had already lost the interest.I thought I will give another 2 episodes as kdramas are slow to pickup sometimes but nope, nothing interesting happening FL is too loud, ML is expression less
And backforth between past and present is too much mental overload

Fantastic music but just a drag
First few episodes were intersing I have completed 10 but it's not going anywhere, too many conflicts that's going over my head first of all too slow for my liking then FL is king how is that ? Ok let's assume that's true than she doesn't have a freedom of what to do she feels like a princess at best rather King , is FL is king then who's the person she calls master ? other's calling Lord ? Gods are dying getting hurt and they are calling themselves immortals don't know how's that ?
