The comments and the "Love triangle" tag scares me
The show is so much better than this hell of a comment section please believe me😭 I don’t know why everybody is so angry about everything🄲

Question: are you team cafe owner or team Ji Eun's unnie? I like both girls and want them to be happy, so I don't…
I agree omg, this might be one of the hardest love triangles I’ve ever seen in a drama, and they’re not even main characters😭😭

wait this would have been much more fun if minju ended up liking jihun in stead of yunjae. that would have been…
I AGREE!! At first that’s what I thought it was ahahaha, and was surprised it wasn’t the case

Okay, is there someone here who actually read the original webtoon (and thus knows if it’s more of a BL or if…
I’m reading its English release on the Webtoon app, and it’s still ongoing there, so whether or not FL turns back is unknown to me, BUT I’m all caught up on the released chapters (the free ones, so I’m like 5 episodes behind the paid ones), and it already seems like the K-drama is changing a lot of the original plot! For starters, Chuu’s character is original to the drama and doesn’t exist at all, making it much more bromancey will-they-won’t-they in the Webtoon. The comic IS tagged LGBTQ+ on the app, so I must assume it will delve into that more in future chapters. Also, there’s no ā€œfamily geneā€ that turns Ji-eun into a man, it just kinda happens lol. Most of the comic is comedy-ā€œromanceā€ about how to navigate life now that Ji-eun has become Ji-hun. Since Ji-hun is still completely in love with Yun-jae after the transformation, she is willing to stay friends to not let him completely out of her life, and Yun-jae also doesn’t want to completely break-up since he still loves his girlfriend. That’s kinda it so far!

Though this doesn’t seem to be a BL, I’m currently reading the Webtoon and it IS tagged as LGBTQ+ content on the app!! So far I really enjoy the comic, so I’m very excited for the drama, regardless of the direction they’re going with🄹🄲

Title Our Youth: After Story Spoiler
So episode 11 basically, I wish they told their friends they were together or more open. Not sure how Japan receives…
Agreed!! Honestly I'm surprised this epilogue has the "happy ending" tag, because it honestly felt bittersweet. Minase and Hirukawa told each other they would love each other no matter what, but it still felt sad that nothing really happened with their friends or parents :,)

One of my favorite little things about this show is that Taichi and Kohei were indeed outfit repeatersšŸ‘šŸ¼šŸ‘šŸ¼ lowkey something I want to see more of in dramas lmao

One hilarious thing I’ll never get over is how many times they take off their backpacks somewhere during a fight and then just leave it there😭

I have seen somewhere that this BL and some other Japanese BL are blocked in Japan only.....why? does anyone know?
It's not, luckily! It's available on UNEXT, which is a pretty popular streaming service in Japan :-)

Title Soul Mate
For some reason I will have to see this with my own eyes to actually believe it's a romance... There could be…
Netflix already has a show page for the drama, and it’s labeled as a ā€œromantic dramaā€, so I have high hopes! Maybe there won’t be a kiss, but I still believe it will be romance.

Title Begins Youth Spoiler
I hope someone will pirate this as soon as it's released lol I've been waiting for 4 years and no it's not bc…
I read both of the "The Notes" novels, which are by far the most in-depth stories of the HYYH lore, and yes, Seokjin (Jihoon's character) gets a happy ending in the second book! He loses himself throughout, but the boys pull him out of it. Honestly, the only one who got a bad ending was JungKook's character (Jeon Je Ha) which wasn't too bad, but it got kind of dark because he grew to despise (bc of a misunderstanding grrr) the other 6 boys so much that he lost himself as well in a spiral of hatred...
