For some reason I will have to see this with my own eyes to actually believe it's a romance... There could be…
Netflix already has a show page for the drama, and it’s labeled as a “romantic drama”, so I have high hopes! Maybe there won’t be a kiss, but I still believe it will be romance.
I hope someone will pirate this as soon as it's released lol I've been waiting for 4 years and no it's not bc…
I read both of the "The Notes" novels, which are by far the most in-depth stories of the HYYH lore, and yes, Seokjin (Jihoon's character) gets a happy ending in the second book! He loses himself throughout, but the boys pull him out of it. Honestly, the only one who got a bad ending was JungKook's character (Jeon Je Ha) which wasn't too bad, but it got kind of dark because he grew to despise (bc of a misunderstanding grrr) the other 6 boys so much that he lost himself as well in a spiral of hatred...
This is probbly gonna be the first (and only) time I'll deliberately use a 🏴☠️ website. I ALWAYS encourage using the official platform, but $90-$120 is outrageous and the whole NFT/Crypto thing is sitting very poorly with me...
I’m not rlly sure what all the difficulty with this drama coming out is😭 atp it’s filmed (has been for…
I am 99% sure the only reason it isn't being released is because of the whole Web 3.0 Distribution thing they're trying to establish. Instead of releasing it on a streaming platform they're trying to create their own semi-crypto way of releasing the show, which I'm sure is both hard on the side of the developers and also consumers... I really hoped this show would end up on Disney+ but oh well...🥲
So excited for this, but what is up with that Xclusive 3.0 web distribution thing? This is a 40 BILLION won production, wouldn’t both HYBE and Chorokbaem prefer a more convenient way of consumption??😭
NOOOOOO I just finished EP4 and I really thought I finally found a drama with a beautiful PLATONIC male-female friendship, but of course Yu-chan had secret feelings for Da-eun the entire time why can’t men and women ever be friends😭💔
Wait I didn't know they were using their real names 💀
They were supposed to, but it got changed in 2020 after a lot of fans expressed concerns about watchers thinking it was based on a true story! We don’t know the replacement names yet tho🥲
Fun fact: the supporting character Jun Ho (played by Kim Nam Hee) is “Uncle JunHo” from The Notes 2 and works for SeokJin’s (or whatever Seo Ji Hoon’s role will be named in this drama) father!
I loved season 2, but this original story will always be pure gold to me. Even if it had ended here, with Jun-ho running away, I would have found it deeply moving. The deserter pursuit turned deserter!🥹
I liked it, but this story has the potential to be so much more! Distancing yourself from religion is incredibly hard, and I feel like Yohan’s thoughts are very understandable if you been a devout Christian all your life. Also, the budget was sadly a big hindrance, but I can’t blame them. I truly believe a full-length LGBT movie could be made with this storyline
