probably from the morphine withdrawal? just a guess since withdrawal has a big impact on people
He was like a little puppy following her around. I think she gave him a bowl of noodles once. She was giving Er Ye noodles to eat forever, and I don't think it tasted good. 😂😂
Did the Japanese experiment on the creatures, to make them enormous, or were the creatures already that size? They look like they were once human, and mated with the aliens from Alien the movies and some bat species. Or did they come from outer space with the meteorites? Are the Japanese planning to unleash them on Changsha and beyond, to conquer the country?
Sorry for rambling... like the drama. It is taking me forever to finish episode 23. I have been watching it for 90 minutes. 🤣 Reading the comments is more interesting than watching the episode.😂
zheng shunxi is great actor, what I remember when he casts as wu Xie in ultimate note, he gives off rich young…
Chan and Zeng in this drama, make one of the best looking ML C-drama teams. Despite the age difference, they look complimentary on screen. I don't know if there is a comparable ML team in K-dramas.
I was looking at Ba Ye rambling about "towers within towers and perils within perils" in episode 23, and it occured to me that Ba Ye is the screen incarnation of the creator, Xu Lei/Nan Pai San Shu. At the same time, Xu fantasizes that he is the enigmatic, handsome Fo Ye/Zhang Qi Shan.

Same here! I was going to say that I watched the shows, based on the main cast. William Chan epitomized Fo Ye Zhang Qi Shan. There was another actor who played a young ZQS in a prequel, and he even looked similar to the enigmatic Chan/Fo Ye.

I don't think Nan Pai San Shu knows the plot until he makes it up. At this point in time, the Tomb films and dramas have outrun Game of Thrones and the Lord of the Rings and Star Wars franchises on screen.
I don't even bother to watch all the dramas and films, btw. I didnt even know Ba Ye had a son. Wow!
Once they get into the tombs, the holes get bigger. 😁😁 I am zoning out on episdoe 23 with the hundred towers growing. It was more interesting when they were above ground.
The man looking like an emperor in red costume, is good looking. I know his face. Update: I just watched him in Blossoms of Power and Pursuit of Jade, and I don't even remember his roles. 😆

I vaguely remember he was addicted to morphine, which is derived from opium. Chen Pi made Ya Tao addicted to morphine or opium, thinking it was a miracle drug. It was either supplied by Hendry Cox or the Japanese agent.
He is one funny chap, always try to show his culture supremacy by utttering loads of Chinese proverbs! I ffwd…
I didn't realize Stokes was Australian born and raised .... or I forgot. I don't recall if he had English dialog in Season 1. I can't vouch for an authentic American accent.
I noticed the two actors playing the Japanese characters are talking Japanese slowly. It must be the same drama voice coach who trained Stokes to speak Chinese in Season 1. 😂😂

All I was thinking after she got out of the pool, was that her hair and clothes dried fast. She should be soaking wet for many hours. 🤣🤣
