A beautiful end-of-life for Xu Lanxiang! The scene with the young ladies in the garden was beautiful. There was a lady in a blue dress. Was she a Lin lady or Zhao Xing Tang? This was one of the best endings of a drama, even though it did not end with the ML and FL together in the fnal scene.
I was hoping Old Master might have revealed to Lanxiang that he had always known her identity on his deathbed.
Sorry for Han Liang, who died with his convictions uncompromised. Did he marry? There was a mention a Madam Han and children who moved back to his own residence.

I thought the same thing. He held the Shen box for eight years. Didn't Shen supposedly die? I don't remember how she switched identity with the dead Xu daughter. Did Jin Qi suspect Shen was alive all these years, and was waiting for her return? The grave site was a giveaway.
jiugao is like a monkey, super intelligent but naughty. he fools everyone, not just that crossdressing time alone.
I remember a scene where he was buying a trinket for Yuchan. He was wearing his dress, and the merchant kept staring at him in disbelief. Small town! Everyone knows Jiugao.
Watching that preview at the end of episode 41 make me cry. This was the first time I shed tears during this drama, or the previous dramas I watched this year. I hope she reveals her identity ias soon as episode 42 opens, and does not keep Jin Qi or the viewers in suspense.
