Personally, I didn't feel a thing when the kiss arrived. Don't get me wrong: Song Joong Ki is unbelievably sexy…
I honestly have to "beat" you for saying that because they look like they are going to be in love, they don't follow orders or defend one another or such. I believe this drama is much more than just a cheesy love story it currently appears to be. This is not the first time YSJ disobeyed the rules to protect people; KMY just gave him more reasons to do that. That's all. I believe him when he "scolded" her on the road near the end of ep4. Also, if KMY is about to "love" him, she wouldn't go to defend him in the camp because she would learn and understand how to care for him the right way. Her action now is still a bit selfish. I can see a part of her is more like "I don't want to feel guilty anymore driving him to that stage." Do I make sense? Lol

I don't think they're in love yet. A few more eps then they will. You don't have to be in love to kiss. A kiss can be impulsive or based on "I'm attracted to you" or "I like you." That's all. (I'm not beating you haha)
And I agree SJK can kiss anything and I'll go crazy. He used to be a beautiful girly boy in my eyes. Then boom, he's one of the sexiest manliest Korean actors now.
Joong ki play in this military character? i mean seriously? he is too "dandy" for me. but it s all on…
I know right. First I was like "oppa, I love you, but you look like a flower boy and that's it." but then I saw him here and I'm like "yeah he's one of the sexiest Korean men now."
I need a tutorial on "how to get enough of Descendants of the Sun?" Yeah this is the first drama that I've watched raw, then 2 other subbed versions. Lol
I'm gonna give this show a few more weeks before watching it. Episode 1 was meh. There were some cool parts and…
being in love and "hey s/he's cool how about some dates" are totally different. Ignore the cheesy music and the slow motion. "Love birds" don't love in 2 seconds, see one another less than 5 times and break up after 2 weeks in a coffee house. Just my opinion :)
I think the ending cannot be better. It's realistic and not depressing at all for me. I really cannot think of a more reasonable ending. This remains one of the best dramas I've watched.

Oops, sorry I wrote what I actually didn't mean. It must be because I was upset at the negative comments. I did not think they are in love. Sorry about that. I agree with you they are just interested and maybe a bit obsessed about one another thanks to the unique memorable first encounter. What I actually wanted to say before was I am happy the romance has started, unlike other dramas where they are friends or hate one another at first then slowly become lovers. That will really be a cheesy romantic comedy. This one is not. And I also agree the cafe scene is the most meaningful. That's where i got those ideologies above. I really hope they move along that line.
Against the many negative commentors, I personally like the fact that the romance had begun (no matter how magically fast it is), because I don't just look for romance here. What I look for in this drama is the clash between two ideologies when it comes to "protecting people," one from the "soldiers" perspective - killing the enemies to protect, and another from the "doctors" perspective - saving lives to protect. I also look for a different view of war and peace, and another angle into the life of soldiers and volunteer doctors, again, no matter how romantic (not love-related, but philosophically romantic) they will make it.
