I think he did go too and is actually the one in YWH's body and is the one who tried to change the illusion. This would explain what BZ said in the beginning about it being a different YWH.

All the illusions corrected themselves and fast forwarded when someone tried to change what happened in the past. In case of LJ, when YWH killed TianDi instead of freeing him, the illusion changed so why would YWH kill TianDi if he's not the current butterfly demon YWH?

And I don't think my baby Li Jie still realises that he is in an illusion 😭 I wonder what he thinks is happening.

Also I don't see anyone mentioning it, but current butterfly demon Yuan Wuhou is also in the illusion with Li Jie because he is the one who changed the illusion, so what is he doing there??

I'm still not sure about the WWY killing everyone situation but the reason she stabbed the master is because she wanted to get out of the illusion and the master is the stone so she probably thought killing him would end the illusion.

There's a catch though. The people in the illusion are experiencing it from a third person POV so CW and LWY cannot be MM and DZ respectively. Either or both of them have to be someone else present in the illusion.

Like I'm pretty confident that Ji Ling is his actual name but since they called the sweet, innocent persona JL, calling him JL now seems kinda off 😭 But he is becoming more and more JL every episode though😂
