Ikr, they should really create a separate genre tag for Xianxia and Xuanhuan. So many dramas are misclassified because all the dramas are just tagged as Wuxia.
Li Jie is not as high maintenance as Ji Ling so there's a chance that he's not a puppet, ryt? RIGHT?
Oh I get which scene you meant but does he really look like Li Jie? You can be right tho, he probably has some connection to them cuz he has the same name.
I am at ep 7 and everything is so convoluted and complicated...nothing is as it seems but one cant really figure…
Better is relative. If you like straightforward and uncomplicated stories and are unwillingly to stress your brain, I think VoS might just not be for you, as the twists are only starting.
I said that Jiu Ying is the force behind the catastrophes, but that’s not entirely correct, right? The real…
I think the catastrophes were fated to happen and wasn't exactly a part of some great plan. The Star Stone and Jiu Ying just happened to trigger the disasters. Of course I could be wrong though.
I’m trying to piece together everything i’ve read with what i’ve watched and what i understand about the…
I'm not very sure about the other points you made but about the last question, I think Jiu Ying's current motive is to find another person with the Dragon's Diety's power to kill Chi Wen and free his nine heads and gain back his full strength.
Ok can someone explain... Who the heck is Jiu Ying?? Has he appeared before in the series??
Jiu Ying is the big bad villain who wants to plunge the world into darkness and who the Dragon Deity and his nine sons (including Chi Wen) fought against to protect the world. I don't think he appeared per se before this illusion arc but we have been hearing about him from time to time since the beginning.
I have a feeling they are going to take the LiLun route with Yuan Wuhuo...giving him a strong backstory and justifications, a redemption arc and...yk.
