Help I can't get enough of Lu Zhou and A'Chou😭 I didn't even realise when the episode ended 😭😭

What one year promise?? Never heard of such a thing! They need to be tied together for lifetimes.

To the people still commenting on Yan'an's acting — Yan An is a very good actor, especially compared to his experience. I'm not only saying this as his fan, literally anyone who has watched his previous dramas knows this.

But it's not just acting that goes into portraying a character. First of all, Lu Zhuo himself is a man of few words and even fewer expressions, there is not much range to show here in the first place. Lu Zhou is not a character that commands the room, that's reserved for A'Chou. Maybe, maybe a more experienced actor could make something more out of him, but they would not have accepted this role. This is Yan'an's first male lead role and he's doing a fine job with what he has.

Then we have the dubbing. Not only does the voice not suit Yan'an and Lu Zhou, the dubbing itself is not that good either. There is no synergy whatsoever and Yan'an is already operating with a handicap over here compared to when he dubbed his own voice which made his acting feel so much more nuanced.

This is a female centric drama, everything and everyone including the direction, writing and costumes faces towards the female lead. The male lead is not on the same level as the female lead; she is supposed to overshadow him. Moreover, both the screenwriter and director of this drama tends to elevate female leads compared to male leads in their works and it has nothing to do with their acting (take the difference between Zhou Yiran's characters in GtG and AtC for example).

Finally, I'm not saying you have to like him or give his acting a free pass, you're entitled to your opinion. I'm just pointing out that there is so much more to a character than just acting. Tian Xiwei is lot more experienced, acting in a drama which revolves around her. She is not stealing the show; it is her show. So, it's only natural she would stand out more but the fact that she and Yan'an has such amazing chemistry and that he is holding his own already shows that he's doing a good job.

Lu Zhou knows he has fallen for his wife but won't say it until her feelings are sincere so now, he's going to make her fall in love with him! I'm squealing!!

No matter how I look at it, all four of them need to go their own separate ways.

Everyone who knows it is because they are let in on the secret or had proof and most of them are literally her family. Qi Zhongkai guessed it by connecting the dots and was reckless enough to say it but got pushed back and now I don't think he is sure either.

Lu Zhou is smart enough to figure it out too but every time he tried to confront her, she literally stripped down and/or gaslighted him into thinking she changed herself FOR HIM. What can he even do in that situation 😭. It's also necessary for the plot that Lu Zhou doesn't find out the truth until his feelings for A'Chou solidifies cuz or else there is not enough reason for him to protect her by keeping the secret and many people will have to die.

It's so fun to see Lu Zhou slowly becoming more and more expressive, Yan'an's eyebrows are finally getting the chance to shine 🤣

The way Lu Zhou fell so fast like not even two months in and one year became one OR two years 🤣🤣

I lovee how A'Chou doubles down every time someone questions her identity 🤣🤣

I did not reply to you love. You're watching the drama and can make your own judgement on whether you like his acting or not. I specifically replied to someone who said that they did not watch him act and seemed to make assumptions about him.

It's not his first on screen kiss. He had kiss scenes in Use for My Talent.

His acting is nowhere near poor. Yan'an is a good actor and did great in his previous roles but there's a difference in load between supporting characters and the male lead. This is his first drama as a male lead and the character itself is a bit rigid and less expressive initially, but he is still doing pretty well with what he has. Not saying he is perfect but there has been way worse male leads previously. Natural talent is rare but it isn't everything, most actors learn through experience. You can choose not to watch this drama but let's not go around making assumptions based on his background.

Omg I love Lu Zhou and A Chou's dynamic so much. I like how she can predict him so well and he can always tell what she's up to. It's also so fun to see Lu Zhou slowly lose his composure like that little step back when she grabs his arm and ep 6 ending ahhh.

Lu Zhou's descriptions of Wei Rao are also so peak. Not him reminding himself to not be blinded by her beauty lol.

Give it some time. Yan'an's character itself is a bit stiff and lacks the flamboyance of Tian Xiwei's characters since she is the main focus, but I think Lu Zhuo will become more natural over time.

I wish they had kept his own voice; it'd have given his character more authenticity as the dubbed voice fails to create a synergy, but Yan'an is a good actor and given it's his first time as a male lead, he is still doing pretty good.
