On the contrary, I think Mi Jeong has come a long way too.
1. At her job, she opened up more with her colleagues and shares her thoughts. She talked about Mr Gu and the nail on the floor for example when she was more withdrawn at the beginning. She can't do much about her boss as she's a temp and her staying or not in the company depends on how he'll grade her. In fact, her boss is a known bully and misogynist as shown by Mi Jeong's colleagues attitude everytime he opens his mouth. Being in the workforce isn't easy and one cannot go and tell their boss to shut it. Going to the HR might also not be a solution.
2. I think she worships Mr Gu as much as he worships her. She never judged him and accepts all of him. She told him numerous time that she didn't care about his past actions. In fact, Gu himself came a long way thanks to her accepting him and sharing these random and weird little facts with him. When Gu reached a state of grace while he was running after Mi Jeong's brother, he thought back about his interactions with his ex and drew a parallel with Mi Jeong. She hasn't known him for long but she might be the one person who has been able to read him and despite all that she loves and accepts him. The first step of her worshipping was actually to take up her courage and boldly ask him to worship her. In fact, it's thanks to her that he was able to go meet Beak and face him regarding his ex's death.
He's worshipping her! He's protecting her from his real life. No matter how much he distances himself she acts…

Also, when he was running after Mi Jeong brother and reach that state of grace where material stuff didn't count anymore and he was only running but not after Chang Hee, he thought back about his ex and how cruel he was to her. How he told her to shup up and not try to understand him and then he thinks back about how Mi Jeong does understand him, how she told him he was transparent. He was touched then not angry.
I really hope these two will end up together and keep loving each other fully.

The love triangle isn't so heavy per se because though FL is still close to 2ML and jeopardize everything, everytime to save him, she's married and in love with her husband.
The problem is that her husband adores her and is insecure because she doesn't show her love for him. So their relationship lacks trust.

Exactly this! It bothers me that FL claims loving ML but doesn't respect their relationship. This! I hate when they claim FL is smart in series but it doesn't show. In series like The Sword and The Brocade, The Story of Ming Lan, Story of Yanxi Palace, Rebirth for You or The Court Lady we could SEE that FL was indeed smart. But here FL is blinded because she thinks because cultured is being smart and she's too arrogant to question what she think is the absolute truth (e.g. 2ML not being the nice naive guy he used to be or ML being more than the arrogant brat she thought he was)

So annoyed at FL! Couldn't she run up to her hubby barefoot ? It would have such a good scene!
