At this stage CPP is about as transparent as a piece of black obsidian and not sure that he is simply using FX. And it also seems like he’s guarding against the Emperor, who I’m guessing was probably involved in her death. As for the Emperor, I think he will probably turn out to be the most utilitarian one amongst them all.

Am wondering if we'll get to see more of Ye Qingmei's backstory and her relationships with all these different men in power esp FJ and CPP cos the depth of their feelings/affection for her kid is rather impressive.

This is not the first or even ground-breaking time-travelling, try to fix the future by fixing the past krom com, but somehow it has great charm and has me rewatching episodes while eagerly waiting for next week's instalments. Is it the chemistry between the leads, their great kissing scenes, the comedic interludes? Whatever it is, I'm hooked.

This is surprisingly delightful so far. Love that the main characterss are straightforward and not being dumbed down especially the women. LSY's fainting spells are hilarious. Am also rooting for the second couple. Shen Ran is such a decisive character -waiting to see how she will whack her scumbag husband.
