So far really liking it. Very fast-paced, binged it all in one night and looking forward to next eps. It's a role that is so tailor made for BL. Am glad we are not watching her in yet another xianxia drama. Loving her visuals. The jianghu style really suits her and she looks fantastic. So WXY will finally get the girl aka BL and it's only taken him three tries 😂
RSB ever so calculating till the end even leaving a fast horse 😅 Were the men too supine? Were the women too extreme? Were there plot holes? It's a rare cdrama which doesn't have flaws. But overall I thought it was a pretty good and enjoyable yarn. And Neo Hou has really come a long way from his slightly derpy acting salad days.
This may be a plot full of cliches but hey the leads chemistry is great and it's nice to have a mid-week booster to look forward to. Reminds me of the days when I looked forward to Mondays just to see Sol and her Sunjaeah.......

Can I just say again - LYX is totally bewitching in this drama and it is such a joy watching him move especially when doing soemthing like the dance to awaken the stone - his ballet training really shines through.

Yes I don't know why they think telling actors they absolutely cannot smile, move etc is the best way to portray these kind of characters - they then just come across as somewhat constipated, rather than conflicted.

Indeed he just can't pull off the nuanced performance needed for this type of character. And yet he did once upon a time show some potential after WOH.........It seems that that may have been the peak of his career.
