If I'm not mistaken, the gist of it is he's already given her part (or all?) of his immortality, so she won't die immediately even if he takes out the heart scale - at least she's got 3 days to live after he stabs her. When she finally finds out in ep 27, she asks him the question we're all dying to ask "Do you mean to say you did all that and risked dying when you went to fight SY? Why didn't you (*f...g) tell me?" (*my own addition 😄) and he says " I was afraid you wouldn't be able to accept it".
At which point I hope she gives him a right ding on his doofus head!

Ummm hmmm, after all the buildup we've seen of their refreshing ability to communicate, could the writers not have found it possible to move it to the next dramatic level without falling back on the oh-so-tired spastic miscommunication trope? Feel like they may have missed the opp here to make this drama great, instead of just entertaining.

Honestly he could have just said - "Bitch is back, need heart scale to save the elves. Wait for me, I'll be back!" I think 5 seconds only 😄

I think everyone is getting attacked at this stage, like RW. So dangerous to be in a drama which suddenly captures the imagination/hearts of thousands…….

Some fans can’t (or maybe don’t want to) differentiate between reality and fiction - unfortunately not the first time it’s happening and won’t be the last.

Whenever I see characters like Su Ying now, I can’t help but think about Master Lee in Alchemy of Souls - how he cried like a baby when he lost out to his love rival, but at the next moment pulls himself together, “why obsess over things that were never meant to be?” ………

Let’s take a moment to also pity poor LMS. At this stage, SY isn’t even viewing him as a lover any more, he’s like a favourite doll or pet that has become disobedient but no matter what must still be hers for all eternity. How could anyone who claims to be in love just fling him around like that? If ever a person needed to be rescued from a crazy ex…….

The woman is sooo lost……no amount of therapy can bring her back. Ah well, brute force will have to do then……

Wondering the same thing. But I guess they had to do that to drive home point that he REALLY needs to take back heart scale……should be able to see him whack her quite a bit next ep.

Just thinking how weird it is to be a content creator in this day and age - before an entire work is even out viewers are already all over it , dissecting and commenting, to the point where you have to come out on livestreams etc to explain, and sometimes even change things……there’s a whole plasticity to content these days thanks to social media.

Plus the immersion in social media also fans the complete blurring of reality and fiction……one person having negative reactions to the story in isolation can’t do much, but get together with a few thousand others with same same thoughts in big echo chamber and it takes on crazy life of its own.
