Yes that would be interesting. Previously didn't pay much attention to RW but after BFTB it would be interesting to see him in more costume dramas.

It's a problem that plagues cdramaland - the author has spoken about how she was also asked to keep adding fillers to The Legends cos they wanted over 50 eps. It's always more is better probably due to ads/endorsements. Actually more usually just turns out to be more room to make mistakes, plot holes and perpetrate strange character developments.

Kdramas have swept around the world and they only need 12-16 eps (normally) to do that..........think there's a lesson to be learnt there.

They're already more straightforward than so many other couples in cdramaland esp recently. Hope they can keep channels of communication open. In the novel, they know and understand each other so well, sometimes don't need to put it into words - will be interesting to see if author can keep this quality here.

I also find it a bit strange to not want to call this an adaptation or to hate it cos it doesn't follow the novel exactly. Ok, if other people had taken over the material and messed around with it, but when it's a case of the author herself being involved in making the changes? Jury still out on whether she'll do it successfully, but why the quibbling over "inspiration" vs "adaptation". This is all coming from the same creator...........

Let's trust the author a bit lah. After all in the end these are all her creations, and if anyone has a right to change things for more dramatic impact, she does. Bearing in mind how The Legends descended into a farce (though understandably), BFTB is already more promising. (Fingers crossed won't get disappointed after saying this.)

Ok. So BXS is working for some dark lord and has a mission to retrieve a treasure from the Fox Clan and needs the fated couple to help him do that. His connection with the dark lord is still being unveiled.

He continues being a demented shipper of YanYao until ep 14-15 when he was rescued by YH. Then he suddenly falls for her - she friendzoned him immediately cos by then she's fallen deeply for Yao Yao. We're all hoping he doesn't become the second male lead at this point cos he's so much better as crazy shipper.

Yes life is too short.............am actually glad they have episode restrictions now - I can't believe that I once watched 70 eps of Rise of the Phoenixes. Cdramaland still needs to be more disciplined and focus on telling a story properly - learn from kdramas which are so much more compact.

Uh how many spoilers do you want? Cos I can offer you some further developments up to ep 15-16...........

Glad it’s still surrounded by a touch of comedy right now, hope it stays that way cos don’t really need a typical second male lead trope in this story. Esp when he was so good as demented shipper…….
