Well there's definitely still some stabbing to come from the clips they've included in the MVs etc..........but doesn't mean a HE which wraps up everything properly is out of the question. Remember, the author is involved in scripting this and she does do happy endings.

He grows on one - no need to over analyse his acting but like you, I can't imagine anyone else playing the role now............

Yes they told each other their backstories very early on.

It's a lovely series so far. The main couple is the cutest. Lotsa romantic moments, comedy and action. They talk to each other and as noted above, they have a demented shipper keeping their romance on track.

I assume the dark aura has already infiltrated Chenxing Mountain - just have to see if the grandmaster of the sect is courting it voluntarily or got "attacked" by it. The dark aura thingy is probably going to be the ultimate baddie as foreshadowed in the fight with the Shrek imitation earlier.

Ah I think ZY is already on another level -after her debut in WOH she was definitely someone to watch - watch WOH ep 35 for a truly gripping performance.

If you're a fan of Bai Lu you will like The Legends - that's how I became a fan of hers. The only problem with that was that the studio insisted on 50 something eps when the source material was much shorter. I think it was the author's first time doing a screenplay for tv and she was pressured to add more and more stuff to it until it became farcical. Cdrama producers/studios still lack discipline and the understanding that more is not always better. Being driven by their greed for ads and endorsements just harms the final artistic product.

They're not called sects for nothing. I mean I know the word as used in cdrama (or at least cdrama translation) is not the complete equivalent of the modern usage of "sect", nevertheless, with the strict hiearachy and the ideology/propoganda, it's not difficult to see similarities to modern equivalents of radicalisation/brainwashing. Plus, it's quite likely the senior management is complicit - think we will see more of that emerging. Author likes to explore these themes of racial/other species stereotyping and prejudice and how to discern real good and real evil, as can be seen in The Legends, LBFAD etc

Yes, still work-in-progress, but already an improvement from A Girl like Me. And right now can't even imagine anyone else playing the role of TY...........

I think it's quite appropriate and love all the references to smart devices, the all-knowing Qi Jue (shadow of AI bot? Google search?); apple/smart watch. And of course, last but certainly not least, BXS - where has he been all this time? The number of cdramas which could do with his help - too many to count 😂😂
