Does this drama have a lot of angsts? I still put Till The End of The Moon on hold because the sadness is too…
So far not. Up to ep 13, there’s romance, comedy, action, demented villains, demented shipper…….but no major angst, though that may come later. The main couple is solid and communicates with each other. They have also got to be the cutest couple this year. Every episode so far has just gotten better and better.

Well she should just be an ordinary girl who was not meant to live except her fate is deeply intertwined with Tianyao's. At least there's nothing extraordinary about her origin in the novel - oh except that because she should have died originally with her heart defect, she has the ability to see ghosts (one foot in the world of the dead as it were). However, she doesn't have that ability in the drama and it's likely the drama will introduce something different - currently in the latest ep she's been "infected" with some dark energy which she used to boost her power to help TY get his horns back at a critical moment.
If someone tells me the story so far, I can start it properly. I don't mind 100% spoiler.
The 1000-year old dragon Tianyao was betrayed by his first love, a powerful Taoist cultivator. As per the synopsis above, she dismembered him and put his 5 body parts in different places sealed in the 5 different elements. She also stripped him of his dragon scales to make a protective armour for her true love, a mortal. She needed one last part to activate the armour, his heart protection scale. But he threw it away at the last minute, and it landed on a baby girl, Yan Hui, who had a heart defect. The scale allowed her to live.
Later YH became a disciple of a Taoist sect. When the story opens she's expelled from the sect cos she defends some captive spirits/demons. In the fight, her heart protection scale is activated and this also alerts TY whose soul has escaped and is now a weak mortal in a village.
The two inevitably meet and at first he lies and schemes to get her to help him get his next body part and even stabs her in the heart (she can't die cos of his heart scale). But very quickly the two achieve a rapport which eventually leads to love. Although she's reluctant at first, she eventually agrees to help him find all his body parts. This is the story of their journey where they constantly save each other.
To date, he has gotten back 3 of his body parts, and Yan Hui has also become stronger in the process as she learns to unlock her own powers. The question is will he be willing to take away the heart protection scale in the end and let her die? Will they find another way to let her stay alive without the heart scale? Stay tuned...........
The two leads make one of the cutest and most adorable couples around. This drama so far has everything: romance, action, comedy, demented villains and a demented romance policeman/shipper (you'll understand when you see him). Try it, you won't be disappointed.
