first jdrama I’ve watched where the lead gets away with murder I’m happy yayy (especially since the murder was justified + nobody will miss the human trash). Also the leads becoming legal siblings was weird and how they both romanticized that new label as if it more intimate than lovers. like NO ur more than just a bf ur my brother 🫦. the last line “We are siblings, we are husband and wife” like u guys are not siblings!! it’s one thing to pretend to avoid jail, but behind close doors u are not. sweet home Tokyo needs to be a tag on MDL too many jdramas with incest themes. other than weird plot line the drama was worth watching. short and kept me entertained till the end with the twists.
Tiffany acting was so bad I didn’t feel like she brought the character to life which made me drop quickly. she had zero facial expressions + her voice was monotonous.

People with depression have personalities though I can think of tons of characters who were depressed and showcased a lot of emotions. This is just a case of bad writing which happens a lot to female characters. Just compare to the lead guy we see his past trauma in flash backs and how he has ptsd from it. His complexity is shown. We see how he fakes smiles and pretends to be fine when he isn’t. He’s also humorous and charismatic.
I like to be convinced when I see two characters falling in love. In books or television this isn’t real life, as the audience I want this love to be believable ofc or else it just seems like insta love. I just want them to work hard in developing her character outside of being the strong silent woman whose extremely self sacrificing .
No she killed him cause he was on death row anyways..so he will die!! But by killing him and another attempt murder…
Her character was really crazy wow that makes the ending even more twisted. I don’t remember much but thank u for sharing!! I now understand the ending to a movie I watch 2 years ago lol
