It is not bad. 1st episode IS slow, but that is just to put things in place, I advice watch first and second, and if you are still not sure you can watch the third too. Personally, I am really enjoying it. This is a fun, interesting, feel good kind of drama. It is not intense, not bothersome, but does has secret backstories. I hope this helps 😊.

1st episode and the best thing about this drama is it’s OST. I mean rest is bearable except the forced comedy. But I guess it is a decent watch (that is if they don’t ruin it half way). Just gotta turn off my brain and go with the flow. Plus we have two couples so more choices. Fingers crossed!

Yang Ling’s backstory is as tragic as it is inspirational. How many of us have achieved great feats like Qi’an? But life isn’t all about achieving, it is about living, joy, sorrow, experiences, hardships. So much more than just achievement. It is beautiful. Living in itself is a feat, experiencing and going through things is a feat. I have walked the land and left my footprints everywhere, they may fade in time, but the fact that I was there would always remain.

Ikr, it was failed love but they did say everything in the illusion was just misery and some were future possibilities. Yang Ling wasn’t married in ep1 so maybe he hasn’t met Lin’an in real life.

This life illusion is such a genius way of letting us know about the character like wow. And the things Xu Qi’an said at the end was inspirational. Doing and experiencing is what matters failure or victory are secondary. It is beautiful. But my favourite author has to be Lin’an she made me cringe so hard I actually skipped. A feat.
