Can someone explain to how xu qi an poem in ep 23 is sarcastic?
He basically said you are dumb, the rest of the poem was a ruse, it’s the last line. ‘I want my child to be foolish and a public servant’. And since it was dedicated to him, it means he is the child. But this is just my interpretation and understanding, it could be wrong.

Looks like now we will see the rapid growth in Lin’an. They way she walked, the blood letter, the crying scene (yes I did get side tracked by Qi’an holding her, but it still made me sad). Lin’an stole my heart with this one! Plus it seems Huaiqing was close with Princess Pingyan. Those! (I can’t curse here so just imagine I said a long string of curses.) should die!

I don’t know man, he would be a really petty SML if he did that, in other dramas rarely the FLs admit their feelings outright, this one is different and from the looks of it, he seems more sensible than that. But I am not the director so I can’t claim anything. Let’s hope he does not go that way. Oh and also it doesn’t seem like he plans on interfering in the relationship, he is more obsessed with the dream than the girl.
