I really liked Xuyue. I would be very sad if he become the SML, though it doesn’t seem so… I really liked his character and I would cry if he is sad again
after watching episode 14 I realised a few things and made a few theories here they are:
1. Huaiqing is actually good cause she protected Lin’an when they were attacked during the rites, and Lin’an is just an innocent girl who is being compared and fed hatred by her mother. Her mother doesn’t seem bad though, just competitive maybe.
2. I think the thing in the lake is the demonised hand of the 1st ruler. Because he had reached stage 1 and the emperor seems to be weirdly addicted by it. Maybe he is trying to combine demon and rank 1 to somehow get immortality ( just a wild guess, though I would love to hear what you guys think) The emperor seems hella suspicious though.
3. Looks like Wei gong did have a sad love story. I am sad for him. But at least he has his kids to keep him company. I hope they are at least…
4. Huaiqing has a whole intelligence network, I just know she will be a very important link or resource or companion later. (I think she might be no.1. Or maybe no. 1 is a character we are yet to meet in the story.)

Wei gong by ep 14 seems like the definition one “Mighty is the hand which knows when to pick up a pen or a sword”, but I am not dumb, I know their is a very deep reason for why he gave up his skill.
ep 12 and I wonder why this world does not have any painting of the two princesses. like Huaiqing is so famous their should be at least 1 portraits for him to see…
I was thinking… will he find out who she is before like 13 episodes? I do love how nothing is rushed and everything flows so naturally. It’s impressive and shows how well thought out it is, but still like the onky reason they both would ever work together is if the Great Princess is doing some grand evil stuff. I don’t know what will happen, so I am very excited to see how it goes!
