Only I know how I managed to finish this drama… I have no idea why she ever chose a guy like him! I watched this months ago and I am still shocked (shocked beyond agression or hate)
People are saying they are unsatisfied by the end, and yes, it was quite unfulfilling because it cancelled everything he did in the future. But frankly speaking I think it was the best ending the directors could’ve given due to the all so popular public sentiments. It is always a problem when it comes to such things, but anyways, the overall series was awesome. Part 1 and Part 2 both were amazingly made and executed. Ding YuXi in this drama made my standards touch Neptune. He was so good in this drama. His chemistry with Esther Yu and his overall acting was amazing, trust me even his eyes can act, I can basically see hearts in his eyes when he looks at Chu Li. It is awesome! I cannot appreciate him enough. I sincerely thank love game for coming out cause I found out about this little gem. I think I should even praise Esther Yu and overall the whole team, but Alas! English does not have enough words for it! Umm anyways soooo… umm… will they come in a third project… please 🥺🥺…

I agree so much, we all love a caring bf who knows what to do, like when she got her periods and instead of being awkward he got her a heating bottle and all, After looking it up on net! And one of my favourite things was how he took Jiang to the hotel with him when he was meeting the actress, so as to be sure, it is such a breath of fresh air after watching all the MLs who sold there awareness for a peanut. He is mature, aware, kind and cute, After this I Know what my ideal boyfriend is like, I don’t even need to think about it. (I am simping again… eh…um…sooo… maybe I should sleep now…)
Unpopular opinion but I like how they tried to explore divorce. As a child whose parents themselves went through the I-want-a-divorce convo (I was a little older than Qiuqiu when that happened about 10yrs old) I know how hard it is… but truth be told as a child I think it is better for them to get divorce then keep fighting, it’s better to uproot a sick plant then let it grow in hopes of more fruits… It is actually very common to get a divorce when both the parents are working, no I am not saying that they should not work all I am saying sometimes in such conditions it is hard to manage expectations, especially as a woman. Not everyone has the fortune of getting a Zhou Chuan so I think a divorce is better, It is never about both parents, it is always about love, both parents are of no use if all you get is hate, one parent is more than enough as long as the child gets love… But the show is talking about the parent, how she love the child and want to be with him, I think, people like me, after watching this drama might be a step closer to forgiving their parents, I hope at least I am able to… Hate rots me to core, I wonder when will I have hope…
