Disappointing with Missed Potential
The show starts strong, with an intriguing first half that had me genuinely excited. However, the latter half devolves into a convoluted mess, failing to deliver a cohesive or satisfying narrative. The rushed execution leaves much to be desired, and the conclusion feels underwhelming.
The chemistry between characters is a highlight, with standout performances from Hyeri, Su-bin, and Hyewon. The casting, acting, and music are impressive, but the directing and cinematography, while competent, lack originality and fail to leave a lasting impact.
The limited episode count clearly hindered the storytelling, but skilled direction and scripting could have compensated for this. Instead, the show struggles to balance its ideas within the constraints of its runtime, resulting in a disjointed and uneven experience.
While there are some charming moments, particularly between Ja-ye and Suelgi, the characters and their development often feel shallow compared to the potential they had. The relationships and conflicts lack the depth needed to truly engage.
Ultimately, the show feels like a missed opportunity. It lacks a clear identity, falling short as a GL, comedy, action, suspense, romance, or intelligent investigation. Instead, it comes across as a chaotic portrayal of "crazy young brats behaving hysterically."
Acting-wise, the cast delivers, but the material they’re given doesn’t allow them to shine fully. Better planning and a more thoughtful approach to the story could have saved this from being such a letdown.
Note: Many fake reviews. its def not at 10.
