10/10 in every way. Can't remember the last drama that made me laugh so much yet cry because i related to it so much. Fine storytelling, writing and acting. Seriously Japan really knows how to make quality dramas.

Your comment stated that you did not "expect to see such negativity coming on the comment section" so I logically interpreted it to mean that you're talking about the comment section in general. I think that's what the above user also meant. I do feel that you should reply to the commenter if you don't agree with her comment rather than making a generic comment about the comments section. But this is just my opinion. I am no one to tell you what to do.
I think entertainment holds different values for different people. For some it is just a time pass but for some it is more than that. I don't watch dramas just to pass time. I watch them to see different stories and have different experiences and perspectives. So if I see something triggering, I cannot pass it as just entertainment and move on. I will feel the need to point out what a wrong message can end up doing (one popular example would be the romanticism of bad guys in general across Asian dramas). For many this would count as negative comment but for some its a different interpretation. This is what I think but I respect your views.
It's just one comment that appears negative. She explained her POV in a reply to another user so I don't see the "negativity". She said she is dropping the drama because it is not for her. So I don't see the need to call out the comment section as negative. Unless I am missing something? I personally see nothing wrong in her comment even though I disagree with her POV.
The whole "let the dead murderers voice be heard. Yes, it was treated unfairly, but I felt it was like saying…
I see! Yeah you have a point. I don't think the writer intended it that way. I do think the focus was more on providing salvation for Azuma through the switch and reuniting both brothers rather than the consequences of what Azuma did and how that impacted those families.. (the whole sun & moon theory, and the mystery) rather than the actual effects of what he did. To appease viewers Hidaka did receive some punishment. So I don't think all was lost.. but yeah I can see how one can interpret it all differently and see that it appears to be sending out a bad message. I saw it differently :)

Azuma was already dead. How better could they have punished the criminal? Hidaka didn't kill. He merely assisted, and was sentenced. Or maybe I did not fully understand your comment.
I think the focus of this show was on Hidaka/Mochizuki/Azuma rather than crime and punishment. That's what I think, and that's how I enjoyed it.
I actually re-watched the whole thing one more time over the weekend. It was that amazing! I must say watching it a second time made me appreciate the growth and development, and all the little pieces that I missed out the first time.
Perfect 10 from me. A must watch for those who love stories centering around a family! It was so heartwarming and funny. I have not seen much of the actor who plays Juichi but now I am going to watch his works. He earned a fan in me. Same with this screenwriter.
