Sorry but your comment sounds like bullying is ok while sexual assault is not. I feel the need to educate you that both are crimes and should be condemned. Bullying may be common. But what is common does not and should not always be normalized.

I see your point. I don't appreciate people who are asking him to die. But I felt the need to point out that you cannot discredit a victim just because they come out to tell the truth years later. I don't know how remorseful he is. But my inference is that he isn't. He waited to be exposed to reveal the truth. His letter does not appear to be a sincere apology and he was not even specific as to what he did wrong and how he plans to make up for what he did.

I am in agreement with you. I can't say I support his past actions, none of us do, but I support the person he…
Not every victim is able to speak up immediately. Speaking up requires courage. Stop discrediting a victim just because he or she spoke up years later. Ji Soo himself has accepted these allegations.
How do you know that he has straightened himself? Are you with him 24 hours a day?

You do realise that many of them may have feared to tell the truth right? Not every victim is able to immediately expose the truth. A lot of them take years to finally find the courage to fight. I work with such victims so I know. Stop thinking that anyone exposing a celebrity is looking for two minutes to fame. Bullying, assault, rape are not mistakes. They are crimes. I don't believe in an eye for an eye but if they do want revenge for what he did they are not wrong.
I can't comment on those asking him to die because I never said such a thing. Not everyone I know is saying that.

This drama gets my daughter all excited. She beats me hard whenever the leads are on the screen and screams at the top of her voice. Adorable dorama indeed.

All those of you calling rape, assault and bullying a mistake made by an innocent teen - please google or go on youtube and educate yourself on what these terms mean, and the damage they do. I am scared to see so many young of you think that what he did is ok just because he accepted his crime. What kind of a world are we living in? Thought and action are not too far fetched. I really hope that none of you grow up to commit such crimes or have kids who do the same. Please don't be blinded by love for a celebrity who you know nothing about.

guys have u guys seen true beuaty. yes it happened and he was in middle school. kids makes mistakes.
This is why I find K dramas problematic. So many of them romanticize the lead's actions of bullying as venting out his frustration while he has a heart of gold. I won't go there, that's my opinion. But please no. I am worried for you if you think this way. A kid does not rape, assault and bully. These are not mistakes. These are crimes which everyone is capable of doing.

EWWW all the people defending him because he was in middle school. I work with people who have been bullied, sexually assaulted and what not. You guys have no idea of the pain these people go through. So many of them have to work a lifetime to finally get over it. I have seen closed ones die because of bullying. Disgusted by this actor and equally disgusted by people defending him.

While I really really ship Aoi/Gon & Sora/Irino, I like that so far, the show has only hinted at possible romance…
Well said! You summed up that one thing about this show that I find very unique.

In subtle ways it is establishing the grey areas in a relationship between a man and a woman. I don't think Aoi and Gon are clueless about each other. I think they are well aware of what they share and how deep they go. The show seems to be telling us that while we can hope for them, they are perfect the way they are. Without dating, they share a wholesome relationship as it is. It is what you said that every good friendship does not need to end up in a romantic connection. It's the same with Irino and Sora. They are perfect the way they are and don't need 'more' to feel complete. As fans we want more. Sure. But they are fine regardless. Friendship itself is a wholesome connection to have. Romance is not the be all end all.

That is the assumption about J dramas that I hate the most. Too bad the cringey ones are popular.

They balance the sad moments with the comedy really well. So no I won't call this sad. I think everyone needs to see this once.

Wow episode 6 was absolutely brilliant. I have decided that I am going to enjoy this without troubling my brain over the mystery. It is beyond my capability. The writer is a genius. I need to check out her other works.

Unfortunately that's the way it works on this site for Taiwanese and Japanese dramas. Brilliant ones deserving nothing less than a 8.5 or 9 are given a 7+ rating.
