The preview for episode 9 said it will be the last episode. :(

Hmm.. somehow I have not enjoyed the last 2 episodes so much. I like the human elements they are presenting but there are writing loopholes. I did not understand the point of introducing Hibiki's mother only to kill her that very episode. Why have Kanae liking Hibiki? Is romance necessary? Why have Hibiki shoot Kurumi? I was hoping for a confrontation between the two and not this. Where are they going with Todoroki and Min Jun's noona?

My rating dropped from a 9.5 to 8.

What an emotionally stirring ride this has been. I will be thinking of these characters for a long time and wondering what they are up to. Anybody that thinks this title is cheesy please do not let that stop you from watching this. It is a fun and sensitive family-friendly show. Screenwriter, cast, director, stylist everybody associated please take a bow!

Same. I have to restrain myself from being rude or jumping into the conversation to tell them off.

E9 has been subbed? I don't see it anywhere. WORD! This one, Nijiro Karute & Uchi No Musume have been my most…
I watched it raw. I understand 80% Japanese. Yes the actors in this show are great. A lot of them are very underrated, like Takahashi Issei, guy who plays Riku, Kawahara etc. The writing was really good. I can see it all coming together like a puzzle. Writer did great in keeping us guessing all the way till the end. That is no easy feat.
I saw JIN and Tenno no Ryoriban from the writer of this show and wow it was fantastic. They are such different shows from Tengoku to Jigoku I'm so impressed. I will look out for more of her works.

On Uchi No Musume, I agree. I loved Orange Days, Aishiteru and One Million Stars. I have not seen the rest of her works but I believe you when you say that she outdid herself with Uchi No Musume. I understand how you feel, I think all of us are feeling that way. I cannot remember the last show I watched where I shipped all the characters so much. It's so weird but I ship them both romantically and platonically. Aoi and Gon, Sora and Hikaru, Sally and Shunchiro. The editor, Wataru, restaurant helper, all of them need to be happy. There is too much chemistry and the banter is so crazy yet real. I don't think there is any character that I dislike. Top notch writing. I love them all too much and I will cry when it ends. To be honest, the past few episodes have made me cry many times even in the happier moments.

I recently started Kakenai and I see your comments there also. It is so much fun. It feels like an extension of 'If Talking Paid'. You seem to be watching all the dramas going on right now. I see you everywhere lol. How are you even managing? I can barely keep up.

its very rare a Japanese drama is good, this is one of those rare ones
I respect your opinion but I would like to point out - I really dislike how so many users on MDL just blanketly assume that Japanese dramas are bad on the basis of a few bad dramas they saw.
Compared to other Asian counterparts, Japan produces the most variety of dramas with all kinds of original plots ranging from the most mundane things to the darkest of themes. They never fail to push the envelope. Before joining MDL, I watched only Korean dramas but after I switched to Japanese dramas I realised that they write some of the most brilliant scripts I have seen. You don't have to like Japanese dramas but don't blanketly assume they are bad.
