The leads were adorable but rest of the drama was problematic. There was so much they could explore with her superpower. I'm not Indian but I thought the jokes were extremely racist. The mother abusing the dad was not funny. I did not enjoy the toilet humour. The writing was incoherent and I felt like I was watching 3 shows badly meshed into 1. This has such high ratings while brilliant Japanese dramas don't make it to 8.
This deserves more views. Like another user pointed out the writing is fantastic. Witty and sensitive, a rare and hard combination to do well. I am very impressed. Will rate this 10 now even though its not over.
This is an easy watch. Suzuki is adorable in a natural way. Reiko is gorgeous as usual. Nakazawa is straight tsuendere material. Jun is a cutiepie. VP is a dork when it comes to love. I look forward to this each week.
Agree with the comments - this was not an easy watch. It took unexpected turns at many points and got very dark. I have seen many dramas but this is the first that focused on the downfall of a lead character. So many characters broke my heart in so many ways.. I will have to write a review on this one.
The acting and writing was phenomenal but I must mention that Maria (Suzuki san) was brilliant. Easily the finest performance I have seen from a Japanese actress.
This was J drama level of good slice-of-life. Colour me impressed! Been trying to get into other kdramas (given this was my first) and none of them come even close.

Why is that so few people watch J dramas?
