Goodness, this is so unexpected. I couldn't go past episode 1. You can never underestimate a Japanese drama on netflix.

Decent show, good setting and nice characters.

I felt there was less chemistry between the main leads but overall I like seeing them together anyway, ML was also good with Suzune and they looked cute together, but in this drama, it didn't matter because I felt like the motive of this show was not romance but rather about the historical lifestyle of the people of that era.
Romance was just sugar coated over this.

Anyway this is definitely a good drama 7/10.

The comments here about this drama are not an exaggeration. It's a below average drama but I would prefer if it was a movie instead.

The ending is really unexpected... Wow!

Decent show what can I say... Cast members did great job, the role wasn't easy but they performed it wonderfully. Nice support characters excluding the mother.

Overall, the drama was well worth the time.
A huge thanks to the subtitle team.

Best part is the happy ending with wedding. So glad mother redeemed herself, loved the part when she came to talk to FL to talk about her daughter's marriage. This scene was amazing.

I would love to see season 2 with how their married life plays out, no one makes drama on the couple's married life which I believe is a huge down point.

Nice show, I loved the chemistry between the leads, the story and writing could've been a bit better but this is already good in my opinion, the OST was amazing.

The acting however was spot on, couldn't believe they were acting. I got the feeling that they were made for each other. The M could've made things easier but I guess it's all part of the drama.

Overall, a really good show to watch.

Probably I'm the only one, but I couldn't find any "connection" with this drama. I watched till episode 4 then felt bored, and it's on hold indefinitely. Perhaps not my cup of tea. But both cast members are doing great work.

Ending is ok, it would've been super weird had they ended up together.

Casting is good from male side, but I felt a bit overacting from female lead, cinematography was good so as bg soundtrack. Rest of the support cast did a nice work there.

Decent movie but left many questions unanswered... Nothing explained... As a viewer you'll feel cheated because from start to end it's all mystery.

The premise was good but this seems like a mess.

Aside from story, the acting was great. I think it saved this movie somewhat.

Decent movie.. Some parts are hard to watch. Also the movie is hard to understand. Its somewhat different from other horror movies.
Overall good watch.

I will certainly give it a try once all episodes are aired. I just couldn't find the reason to continue from 1st episode, I know it will take more than that but too lazy to try atm.

I saw first episode, it didn't made that much impact on me. Put on hold.

Fuyu had affair with FL and still pleads with husband to give her another chance.. Then when she got back together with the ex, was that a fling?
No explanation on what happened with with Fuyu's husband and daughter when she got back to FL. Seems like writers ran out of ideas!

Yeah, you're right. Anueng did try to tell that it's not proper (current timing). Perhaps I missed that part due to broken subtitles. But can't deny that the initial kiss shouldn't have happened in that situation. Anyway I'm not blaming anyone, just this timing doesn't feel right!
