I watched it again, it all started with a kiss initiated by Anueng which was totally uncalled for in that situation. Did you watch the same episode? I'm not blaming anyone it's just the make out scene seemed so odd at the moment, it kinda feels like fan service.
The moment I started taking interested in it and it's over... What a bummer! I hope they're planning season 2.

Some things are hard to believe. ML practically spent his entire life outside Korea and we're made to believe he came back home for the first time. How come he doesn't have any family (other than his foster parents). I mean there must be someone out there who melted his heart, FL can't be the only one. I really wish he had some ex girlfriend or ex wife and a child perhaps back in Italy.
Also at episode 20 he's barely saved by luck when villain's bullets are out when attempted to shoot down ML. ML's choice of not killing villain when he had the chance costed him the life of his named brother (villain's brother), also FL ended up getting shot. He was way too calm all about it.
Also I've noticed this for quite some time now, ML always hesitates to shoot, why? His character should be like mafia henchman. I feel like this was too difficult a role for the actor. He did his best aside from few hiccups. What I do not appreciate is that they killed Kwak Dong Yeon's character. ML could've easily avoided the brother getting killed had he been careful.
The drama is too long, so much time wasted on unnecessary things. And 1.5 hours of episodes are no joke, but I guess they had to introduce each of the plaza members so they could assist ML.
What I find ridiculous is that they're able to fight toe to toe with professional hired men. There are so many things that do not makes sense but lets just leave that for the sake of drama itself.
Ending is fine. Since he belongs in Italy due to his citizenship. Also he made so much mess in Korea and it wouldn't be good for him to be back.

You're right about FL being stupid to even attempt avenging the guy who cheated on her, but there's a comment down below which states otherwise and I fully agree with that.
She lived with the guy for years and has daughter with him. So there's this sense of familial bond towards him so even though he cheated on her, he's still the guy she married and he's her daughter's father, so she has this liability to avenge him. Perhaps it more depends on culture.
Decent show but I don't feel satisfied with it. Like others have already said, revenge is very weak, FL just doesn't seem to have that kind of passion towards her goals and always ends up getting help from others. Feels like a half baked cake.
Jung Eugene is insanely good in negative role, despite the fact I don't like her character I can't seem to hate her performance.
FL is good but her character needs more work. Perhaps this series needed more episodes for knowing each character properly.

So, FL is also grand daughter of Anueng's grandma? What does that make her to Anueng? Perhaps they're cousin sisters, unless one of them is adopted, this ship might sink too soon.

I thought Mi Yue had two kids with Yiqu according to wiki. Anyway, hard to believe how it turned out for FL's sister. I never would've imagined her to be in the villain role. Big credit goes to the Mi shu's servant aunt. She left no chance of provoking Mi Shu against FL.
When she left I thought finally I could take a breather, but no I was wrong the two (servants) left behind were enough to make matters worse.
I have to admit it, she did a fabulous job portraying the role of FL's sister. When she was nice, I thought she wouldn't hurt a fly, by the end, she became nasty as it can be. But the worst character written is probably Mi Yin. I don't understand her jealousy towards FL, she's just there to make matters worse for her as son as we see her first in drama, she was her half sister, just how can she be so cruel?
Even after so many years, when they had a reunion in Yang country I believe when FL and the group was banished there (by queen Mi Shu). The least she could do was to show some sympathy.
Same goes for FL's step daughter (King's daughter, the one who was married off to Yang I believe). How can she believe the words queen and think that Mi yue was the one recommended that guy to be posted outside palace and not in palace? Instead it was the queen herself that did that to blame It on FL. If they had such "good friendship", she wouldn't just assume that.

The main culprit is FL's mom. She fed FL with god knows how many ridiculous ideas. It's one thing to be responsible but one must prioritize which thing is more important.
I find ML leaving his job after paying huge amount of penalty so funny and crazy.
How can any parent in law would want their son in law to resign (post of director I believe) as a condition to marry their daughter?
One can seriously stop watching this drama after this event and they'll wanna thank me later.
