Please let it be true. This could be a masterpiece if only they edited the last part properly according to the sequence and without rush. How do I know if they are going to re release the series?
Honestly, I think they just tried to find fast ways for the ML to be the hero in order to redeem his mistake.…
It’s really indeed a good drama with the best leads I ever watched (Leo and Lusi) with a good script from the first till the 52nd, really. It would be better if they dont cut anything if the rumor about 66 episodes are true, even if they do, at least add one or two episodes would be better
Can u pls tell me what happens to the crown prince and the other prince are they bad or good?
He’s deposed by the act of LBY, using the tiger seal to move the military soldiers. He’s an irresponsible fool who tried play a peacemaker that turnout always makes LBY cleaned up his mess. The last things that make LBY done with him is maybe the crown prince kind of trying to make him and Ling Yi at peace on a lunch, and what I hated the most is, when peng kun is dead on jail because Ling Yi killed him, the crown prince said that it’s accidental. (You dont want to be LBY’s enemy ~ Leo Wu) I really hated the ex crown prince character.
I think that the rescue of NN's father wasn't shown bec from what I've read, at least 10 episodes were cut from…
I agree with you on the chemistry. I would love more of Leo and Lusi. Me, too. Tried to ignore the flaws but still it’s didn’t really make sense for me on several scenes. Just hope they could release the director’s cut
Can u pls tell me what happens to the crown prince and the other prince are they bad or good?
the crown prince is assigned to a duty (forgot what). The crown prince i meant here is the third prince before the five years arc. All of the princes are basically good. (This series only include 3 princes if I’m not wrong; the ex Crown Prince; the current Crown prince aka Third prince and The fifth prince). The ex crown prince is depicted as so kind (sometimes I felt that he’s a hypocrite), but indecisive, and supporting nepotism. The current Crown Prince aka the third prince is depicted as a prince that looks so cold and cruel (for me), he’s bold and sharp tongued, exactly like his mother, Consort Yue. But as we watched the progress of the episode, he’s so much a better candidate to be an emperor, because he’s wiser and using more of his logic, right is right. Wrong is wrong. And he cared for Zi Sheng the most among the princes (he’s in the same line and page as Zi Sheng due to their similar personality and ideology). The fifth prince is a son of the emperor and one of the palace maid as a result of one night stand. He’s considered as a fool by everyone due to his ridiculous acts and remarks. But he’s not bad at all. He befriended CSS at the end. Fyi, he’s bullied by Zi Sheng when they’re kids-according to his conversation with CSS.
Could have been better if they only add 1 or 2 episodes and aired more lately. For me, from first episode till last episodes are epic. However, some episodes are flawed for me. Example: - What happened and the rescue of Daddy Cheng at Tongniu county. They didn't include that or they didn't shoot that ? Although they explained it through dialogues, still, it's odd for me. - Episode 47th. Watched how depressed LBY/HWS because the last key witness (as well as one of the two culprits) to what happened to the Gu City was killed by Ling Yi. He's drunk and I remembered that his 2 aides are by his side, after that CSS came to comfort him. when he's about to reveal his real identity, His 2 aides came and told him that his aunt was in the deathbed. My question is: How did they know the aunt is on her deathbed at home, when they're simultaneously by his side all along. - Episode 53rd. HBY is told by the Queen's nanny that that LJT girl and CSS is already out of the palace for one hour while he meets the Queen on her deathbed. How did he know where they are and How could he chase the two of them while it's obvious it's already too far from the palace? Furthermore, when the carriage fell off the cliff, it's nonsense that it's just HBY and CSS out of the carriage, and that's more like flying. When the carriage is crushed by the mountain rocks, at least they should have depicted LJT and her stuffs fall out of the crushed carriage, to be more real. After the heart touching dialogues of HBY told CSS he considered CSS as his wife when they vowed and bit each other arms 5 years ago, out of nowhere, his aides came to help them. Where the heck are they, arent they always be by both HBY and CSS's side? And how did they find where their boss is. It's not 21st century and they didn't have any GPS to find HBY and CSS, so how do they know? Another absurd thing is, How in the hell the palace guard could know where HBY and CSS are? And after that, no mention of LJT anymore, like no one look for her. - Episode 55th. How did HBY out of the hellhole? He mentioned how to be out of there, but the explanation is damn too odd. WYJ pulled his feet so that he couldn't get upstairs, and the door of that trap is closed. HBY said that He figured out WYJ could get downstairs without opening upstairs door, but how did he know where the door to go outside in a short time? Maybe it's a necessary scene so that CSS finally understands how much she loved him (actualy she always knew that she loved him) and how she had forgiven his mistakes (step by step and the last step is when he admitted that he was wrong 5 years ago when he chose to kill himself instead of accepting CSS's help), but still, it's odd. Not to mention, HZJ is in a labor. and she's kind of falling down to the crypt (didn't it dangerous of the pregnant woman to fall down?). and after she's falling down there, She's suddenly didn't in labor anymore, and she could even climb the rope stairs? in this episode, the only rational one and I think is the logical one is YSJ, when he sarcassed them that if they didn't plan to rescue the Crown Prince. - Episode 56th. How in the hell that CSS's family members know she's at the Guo village? How about the Queen's ashes? As far as I know, after CSS's deceived by Lou Li, CSS told her brother and the imperial guards to wait for her on the spot they stopped. How did the third brother can also comes to rescue her at the Guo village?
As much as I loved this series, it's still annoyed me when I think about the flaws that was kind of fatal for me, especially on the 53rd and the 55th episodes.
I'm sorry for my rants. Please explained for me if anyone felt that I'm missed something of the flaws
Still got that goosebumps of the killer smirk when Ling Yi asked him if he's really wanted to kill his own father,…
And there’s another difference from the start when he spoke to LJT. It’s kind of stone cold. Even colder than when he spoke to Ling Yi. It’s just like as LBY he tried to tell her off from the start
I'm thankful for all the nutty stuff that Ling Buyi got up to in Episode 48 because then we wouldn't have been…
Still got that goosebumps of the killer smirk when Ling Yi asked him if he's really wanted to kill his own father, when He said his real name-specifically when he said the word "Shang", and when he laughed and cried by the same time. It really makes me felt that goosebumps. Not to forget on Episode 47, his conversation with Ling Yi after Ling Yi killed Peng Kun, when Qiuqi tried to comfort him, his aunt's death wish and the most memorable one is ofc the biting scene and the expression when he basically lied to CSS's face. Leo's indeed a pro. looking forward of his other works
HBY just found out that CSS's bite mark scar is about to disappear so he finds her and bites her again. A fight…
I think, everyone basically wanted them to be back together. Even YS, after his conversation with HBY before all of them went off to seperate locations. Everyone knows they still in love with each other without even saying or doing anything-The Emperor and Empress, CSS's family members, YS, HBY's subordinates, even LJT and WYJ knows their feelings for each other. She hated him as much she loved him, which is why she cant move on from him that easy. I think she starts to forgive him after the persuasion of the Queen, the conversation between her and LJT on the carriage when LJT keep bragging that how HBY begged for death instead of life and the biting scar on HBY's arm, the conversation between HBY and her when they fell off the cliff-when LBY told her that after they bit each others arm, he had considered her as his wife, conversation between her and HBY on WYJ's trap, conversation between HBY and WYJ - and the last straw to finally push her to totally forgive and accepting him again is when she thought he had died.
Does anyone know the meaning of a bronze mirror as dowry to a girl? Ling Bu Yi sent the mirror as part of the…
She didnt want to save her face! what a shameless woman. on the queen's banquet, when she approached LBY, LBY just gave her a stone cold face. 5 years later, she tried to rub salt into CSS's wound by exaggerating her relationship with HBY which is all lies (even CSS and the Queen knew and she still shamelessly tell CSS her lies). Even after the Queen indirectly told her off the palace, she still shameless enough to stay there, which i guessed, just to annoy CSS. She's just basically slapped in the face after receiving the news HBY gave her dowries and a bronze mirror. (I think CSS had guessed this, which is why she silently make fun of her and smile of her lies-I think CSS understand enough HBY wont marry anyone, too). Another thing is, LJT kind of mention that the entire capital had known the gossip about her got married to HBY, I think that gossip are spread by her. Which is why HBY gives her a bronze mirror as dowries, aside of hinting she's not a good person, as several mention here
Interesting that it's actually LBY stoled CP tiger seal, but people blaming SS so much (((
Nah, No need to be sorry. I dont mind spoilers. Leo's a child actor and I even watched Judge Bao where he appeared briefly as the young version of emperor. (He's really good with expression since he's a kid). Lusi's Li Leyan is real good, especially when she backpacked the dead kid on her back in the Long Ballad (that's the iconic scene of hers in The Long Ballad for me). back to the drama, The one who could really understand how his mind works is NiaoNiao. Which is why she said to her family members that she will always knows when her husband is in trouble and will always worries for his safety and told her servant to go to Ling Yi's banquet and when her servant's back, she knows what's happening. I think she even guessed that LBY planned not to coming out alive from the massacre and willing to die with him (I guessed, maybe she knew it when LBY came to watch her off to her own house and looking her face for a long time, like he would just look her face one last time and that's why she said to her family members again, she wont be back too should something happened to her husband -LBY). On the other way around, LBY also understands how NiaoNiao's mind works. He knows that NiaoNiao is the revengeful type, just like him. She will avenged anyone who hurts her family (including LBY-at this point I think she had considered LBY is her husband). He also knows that NiaoNiao is willing to die with him should something big happened to him. Which is why I guessed, in the last minute he decided not to tell NiaoNiao he is HWS and not LBY. Another thing is, aren't they biting each other's arm means they had married each other unofficially?
How do I know if they are going to re release the series?

The Crown Prince would have been died on the spot
When the carriage crushed, it shows no one there.
Didnt you think both of them are just lying to each other?
Still cant quite understand that scene.
