Honestly you're a trooper for enduring it three times! Once was enough for me, and i still get depressed over…
I was watching Life Senjou no Bokura and instantly got teary eyed when I saw them, I could only think "Damn, Hao Ting did it" and that the guy was hallucinating and the two weren't really there kind of thing. Yea I know I'm crazy, but I have hope for a part 2.
I agree, we do need more fantasy BLs. I'm enjoying what South Korea is putting out, it's beautiful content and…
Trust, if you watch some Japanese BLs you won't be disappointed, at least not with the ones I have watched. Regarding MODC, the ending is one that I predicted simply by the title of the show. I knew something bad was going to happen and I prepared myself, but the way I cried when it happened. I was tore up for a few days, then I watched it AGAIN. Yea, I watched the entire story AGAIN and cried more. Then I decided to torture myself and I watched it for the THIRD time. Like seriously, but the ending, while not one I like, wasn't bad and I didn't react as others did and banned the series or whatnot. Like we all have to understand that things like this happen. What do you think a relationship is like? You live forever? No at some point one has to part with the other, no matter how it happens it will happen eventually. Still, the reaction was very much a case of an overreaction for me. I am glad they're doing a HIStory 4 regardless of the amount of hate they received for MODC ending. Now I can't wait for Season 2 to Boundary Crossing and MODC which has been rumored to have an alternate ending to coincide with the second part or an explanation of some sort.
I enjoyed it, it was well done. There were some questionable parts like why would a debt collector stay with the debtor, but overall it was a cute story and South Korea is really doing such a great job with these stories. I hope they get the funding to do a full-length one at some point. I mean they are technically movies at this point, cause when you put them together they're about an hour or so long. which is the length of a movie.
I get the point of the story, he had a reason which was his mom, but she abandoned him and he found a new reason and that reason was love, and he put all his effort into it. It was beautiful, a beautiful story, but yea I agree with some that something was missing. I think it's probably the pace, the time it went from one episode to the next. We will more than likely get a movie of this and it will have the missing scenes.
I think what is missing is the closure of the side stories. What happened to Shi On's mom? I think the thing that is missing is another level of drama, something that threatens their relationship more so than what was established. Still, it was VERY GOOD even though those endings were missing which would have brought the entire story to a nice close and left nothing missing.
Kdrama BL’s do well internationally, but how well do they do in South Korea? Been wondering about the likelihood…
That's a really good question. I'm sure people watch them in South Korea because I remember an idol group bringing up Frozen Flower which is a BL drama set in the past.
Okay, there are only two episodes and there is already a rating? Damn, well like always I will wait until May to binge-watch the entire thing. I love comedy, so I hope it makes me laugh.
As someone who endured the ending of MODC three times, I am in need of something that will uplift that part of my brain that is stuck on that ending. So, please, let this be true and let the rumors of the ending of MODC be a dream Hao Ting experienced. PLEASE.
i made an account just so i can comment on this series specifically. i believe korean bls are coming for us in…
as I always say, a BL doesn't have to have a "bed" scene for it to be great. I watched the Untamed, all 50 episodes and there was never a kiss, never a bed scene, it was considered a bromance since it released in China, but the chemistry and the romantic tension between the leads was there and the director did a great job showcasing it while saying in guidelines for China. It would have elevated the series had there been a kiss, but even without one it was an amazing journey. So, I understand completely when you say the kiss at the end was repeat worthy because there have been a lot of frozen peck kisses even in other Asian BL dramas. You can tell when actors are comfortable with one another.
I have to admit, it's been a while since a couple captivated me like these two did and a story that wasn't overloaded with different things going on at the same time. So many dramas fall short because the story fails to deliver, but this one was beautifully executed. I want a To My Star 2 to see how their love and life evolve after his coming out as a high-paid actor.
Okay... Wow... There is not a single bad thing I could say about this series, I loved it. The concept was simple,…
I agree, we do need more fantasy BLs. I'm enjoying what South Korea is putting out, it's beautiful content and the chemistry is off the charts. They take so much pride in their work. Thailand was the BL capital, but they've been frozen in this "school age" era that it's becoming slightly boring. Manner of Death was a breakaway from that and it was like a breath of fresh air. I hope they adapt more mature settings and not always a high school or college setting. Taiwan is giving me good things, and Japan never ceases to amaze me with their beautiful stories in the BL genre. China is even doing great things with their BROMANCE stories such as Untamed and others, but one day I wish they'll break free from that whole "ban on gay" thing and let people live life beautifully. I hope I am alive to see it happen, to see another BL produced and aired in Mainland China, that would be something worth celebrating. There's just something different about Asian LGBTQ stories that hit differently and I love it, but I definitely agree with more FANTASY BLs. Give me a male vampire falling in love with a sorcerer, or a male angel, or human for that matter. Give me more of that.
I am at a loss for words. Beautifully done. BoYa kept me glued to the screen and BoYa had such a significant role in terms of helping Qing. It was marvelous. Definitely recommend.
I can’t wait to see how this ends. I heard Season 2 was approved but idk. After episode 1-11 there’s some stuff I need them to clarify and correct and make better. I’ll go ahead and watch to finish.
I have lowkey no idea whats going on with pok and tong but they have really good chemistry and I'm loving evil…
I mean I definitely agree that the plot twist of Thanu and Wayu pulled things together, but at the same time I feel so bad for Phai would really felt something with Thanu. It's a vicious cycle all over again. Maybe Pha is who Phai was supposed to be with or perhaps Phai is meant to be with Sandee. Either way I'm here to receive the ending.
Yes Tong and Pok getting on my nerves and I understand why Tong did what he did, but just come clean like damn, he'll either dislike you for it or love you for thinking about his future. Either way come clean, accept punishment and live on and for heavens sake just let Pok tap that one time. Goodness. The sexual tension between those two is too much.
I was rooting for Wayu to get over Pha and find someone who won't desert him like Pha did. A lot of people were upset that Wayu was an emotional wreck most of the season, but when you love someone as deeply as Wayu loved Pha it can be like your life was ripped apart. Then to find out that Pha wasn't even the one who saved you in the first place and Thanu is the one who you could've been with from the start can cause heavy emotions. Then to find out that Thanu has feelings for someone else, cause we saw Wayu pull the photo of Phai that Thanu drew and we know how that must feel, but Wayu is too far in now and to feel hurt again, he may not survive this time.
No, you got it wrong.-Tong didn't cheat on his exams. Tong swapped exam papers of Pok with someone else. (Probably…
Yea and that's going to come back and bite him in the ass. He cares about Pok's future but he should have trusted in his ability to pass. I can see that goin either left "good" or right "bad" or vice versa.
