Waiting for new episodes is so frustrating 😭 I started reading the novel, already 1/3 through

More like “we don’t trust each other” to lovers than outright enemies

The drama has been great so far, I hope they keep the pacing

I do like the drama, but the time skips take a bit of time to adjust to. I understand that the novel covers hundreds of years, I just wish we had a bit more clarity on what’s going on, even via a basic narration, which we sometimes get from the ML

Loads of FFW, some really good scenes, some good humour, some naff ideas, I’d say it was okay-ish at best, boring at worst

The cinematography is great though, pity about the story

It’s only 8 years earlier than TBOY, given that he’s already reached adulthood, no physical changes were likely to occur, to a cultivator of all people

Han Li collects trophies and takes down enemies on the sly like I play Hogwarts a Legacy - almost always in stealth mode and inventory full of potions 🤣🤣🤣

His makeup is truly doing him a disservice, bringing out features that I personally dislike. Instead of showing him as mighty, I see him as a cruel, and parasite-like coward.

Su Muyu’s character requires very good acting skills. If they don’t want to let down their investors, they should focus on that as well.

I’m pretty sure that she’s supposed to gain cultivation from intercourse, that’s pretty well established in xianxia/wuxia. Perhaps it’s more to do with her forcefully lowering her cultivation and their relationship being more like an inner demon.

He’s certainly coming off as aloof, yet I’d say he’s shown pretty good rapport with the Mo girl, Li Feiyu, and a few others. We’ll see as the story goes.

The Blood of Youth actor for Su MuYu. He was absolutely perfect for his role, perfectly in line with the novel

I couldn’t watch it, I don’t even know why I couldn’t get past the first episode. I’ve never had that issue with any other of YangYang’s works 😵‍💫
