Why do costume design people not understand how important first impressions are? A poorly tailored suit in the very first episode will create the impression of a cheap production, which it obviously isn’t. Smh.
The story would’ve flowed much better if they had done a better job with scene transition and editing overall. As I watch it, I feel like I’m jumping from scene to scene, without a proper story flow. It’s such a pity since the acting (with some small hiccups) and the story itself are fine.

It’s actually a very often used nickname Xiao Pang. It’s been around since ancient times. It’s something elders call small chubby kids and with some cute ones, it sticks into adulthood. Entirely meant as a term of affection, with perhaps some tiny bit of teasing. Don’t take everything as an offence.
It’s funny how everybody expects Smiling to be a smiley girl, when actually she chose that name because she wanted to honour an OG Chinese player who inspired her to play - his name translated to Smiling. She was actually a pouty little princess in the book. Chang Xiao did exactly what she was supposed to do lol
Don’t know about other dramas, but in this one she was meant to be a pouty girl that endears the cold but very responsible Lu SiCheng into wanting to protect her genuine and innocent love for gaming, ultimately falling in love with her. Wish people read the novel before making unfair judgements.
Director Lu and Gu Qiao Bei in hospital with perfusions is just too funny. I can’t stop laughing. I must say without these too, I’d stop watching the drama… the FL and ML are kind of boring.
Chu Kong as a Cat is just too much… eyeliner should never look this good on a guy. That hair too… /fans herself. I’m not even that into Ding Yuxi’s looks, but that Cat get up is just wow. They certainly kept the best for the last. Haha!
