Posted on this on Bailu’s other currently airing drama 😅🤦♀️
I kissed my husband first too, but he didn’t stand like a statue, he took matters in his own hands very quickly. Poor Shi Yan isn’t even allowed to do that much by his excessively hard working secretary 🤣🤣

Shi Yan likes her a lot, but doesn’t want to admit it out loud , and just wants her to realise it on her own. Perhaps he doesn’t believe in huge confessions and things like that. Either way, he’s certainly got a lot of affection for her, if he’s not already in love with her.
The “finance” talk is beyond vague. It’s not gripping at all 😔
I actually work in fintech, let me tell you it’s nothing to do with technical knowledge. The writers wrote it to be like that - super vague and confusing.
From episodes 8 onwards, Dylan’s clothing finally suit him properly.
Why do costume design people not understand how important first impressions are? A poorly tailored suit in the very first episode will create the impression of a cheap production, which it obviously isn’t. Smh.
The story would’ve flowed much better if they had done a better job with scene transition and editing overall. As I watch it, I feel like I’m jumping from scene to scene, without a proper story flow. It’s such a pity since the acting (with some small hiccups) and the story itself are fine.
They keep calling one of their teammate Fatty... It's tiring. He's not even fat but even if he was it's not nice.
It’s actually a very often used nickname Xiao Pang. It’s been around since ancient times. It’s something elders call small chubby kids and with some cute ones, it sticks into adulthood. Entirely meant as a term of affection, with perhaps some tiny bit of teasing. Don’t take everything as an offence.

I guess they either have little knowledge or thought the audience wouldn’t enjoy a proper finance talk.
