Why did episode 14 feel like it was just 5 minutes long instead of 45?! Ah, this episode was a delight!
DJX trying to hide his amusement when he realised that all that time she’d been jealous due to a non-existent GF was perfectly acted. He didn’t say she wasn’t his girlfriend, and she still hadn’t caught onto it, such a cute innocent heart she’s got. At least she acknowledged that he stopped calling her mei mei! Progress!
I love just how many (seemingly) harsh truths he laid out in the open.I particularly appreciated the one at there…
Yes! Though I came to love anlmost every character in Dr Romantic, Dr Kang is my favourite precisely because of his character journey. Not to mention, the actor does such a splendid job acting like Kang DongJu as well ❤️
He’s my husband’s favourite as well, aside from Dr Kim who I think is universally loved by all fans of this drama series.
Kang Dongju’s return was just so so important. His dialogues in this season left a really deep mark on me.

I particularly appreciated the one at there being only one Master Kim who can do what Master Kim does. It’s very important that they become doctors with a strong sense of self and be fully aware of what they can and can’t do and learn all the time.
We can finally have the season 1 cast and season 2 casts together, I truly hope that they will be able to film a one last season - season 4. I loved season 3, it was so so good.
If in the first 2 seasons, we saw Dr Kim save the hospital and help/empower the next generation of doctors, in the 3rd one we saw these doctors grow more into their own selves, and rely less on Dr Kim, which is very important for the longevity of the Doldam hospital.
I hope to see them run the hospital in the 4th season with more confidence and train new doctors as well. I’d also like to see how the doctors balance their work/personal lives now that we have 2 ML/FL couples (Kang DongJu/Yoon Seo Jung and Seo Woojin/Cha Eunjae). It looks like Dr Kang and Dr Yoo are still together. If they’re already married, it would be particularly interesting to see how the couples deal with things like pregnancy or having small children, because it certainly wouldn’t be easy, i.e. my uncle is a surgeon and my cousins were basically raised by my grandma. It’s a tad sad, but now my cousins also chose to be doctors, and they really love it , so I think they understand the sacrifice.
I’m watching it with my husband bit by bit, and I both can’t wait and dread getting to the finale. This is my favourite drama after all, and I loved the previous seasons so much, I have rewatched them at least 8 times by now 🥲
The ML was absolutely terrific, both in terms of acting and the character himself. The FL however… I simply cannot stand her. I generally am not that categorical, but she was a horrible person. Selfish, disdainful toward the feelings of others, showed no remorse etc. She did grow up much later into the drama, but it was way too late in my opinion. I just wanted the ML to find himself another woman, a truly good one, and be happy with her. This has never happened before. Just wow.
What did the FL do? Why do people hate her? Did she cheat? Spoilers please.
She aborted his child and not once did she apologise for it. Not only did she hurt him, she also made herself sterile. I cannot stand selfish people like her. She shows some character growth at Ep 34 or sth. I would’ve still preferred him to find a good woman, who wouldn’t use him left and right
