A super positive drama about two very determined and mature people, who love and support each other. I absolutely loved it.
Having been a professional dancer in the past, I could fully understand and related to the type of struggles the athletes and their coaches encountered in their lives. As an athlete, so much depends upon your own strength and efforts, however one cannot discount how vital the support from our loved ones is.
The chemistry between the leads is simply amazing and beguiling. Their staring at each other, kisses, hugs, even bed scenes, were all absolutely charged with passion and affection. Their acting was really good.
I’ve read so many of his books, I hardly know which one to choose as my favourite. Perhaps After Dark is the one I’ve reread the most out of all of the other ones because it’s such a pleasant read. The one that impacted me the most is Underground, about the sarin gas attack on the Tokyo train lines. I actually cried…
I’ve just watched it and I love it to bits. The acting, the pacing, the plot, the chemistry between characters, it’s all been very impressive and truly a delight to follow.
I appreciate that this was a story about something more than just boy meets girl. It’s about sticking to your principles, fighting for your dreams, improving oneself through both hard work but also inspiration. It depicts very well how nourishing love can be, by giving us more confidence and courage; it teaches us to be merciful and be able to forgive, for hatred can only bring us misery.
Pure hearted love. I’ve just finished rewatching the drama for the 6th time. It’s such a pleasure to watch it. There are loads of moments when it gets super cheesy, but overall it’s very enjoyable. I love the start of their relationship full of coincidences and misunderstandings of those around the couple, just as much as their actual relationship. It’s just so pure and beautiful.
WHY? Why have they changed the format so much from season 3? The changes in season 4 I already disliked, but to remove the connection between “captains” and the dancers, allowing teams to keep changing their members or disappear entirely, is just foolish. How would you create a connection to the dancers if you can barely keep up with who they are and then when you do start liking people, they’re already cast off?
Only people I got to root for were all, without a single exception, connected to previous seasons’ participants whom I got to know and like while they were properly captained.
Just finished watching SDC5. SDC3 is still the best season despite SDC4 and SDC5 having better dancers. The format changes in seasons 4 & 5 are very meh.
Judging by the comments here, the subtlety of the plot points are completely ignored by a lot of the viewers. Have you heard of analysis and deduction? Smh. Dramas that have to spell it all are super boring. I much prefer a drama like this that requires me to think as well as enjoy the story.
SPOILERRR ⚠️ ⚠️ he found out her identity but decided not to be together WHAT?! AND IT AINT EVEN FOR A…
It certainly is for a good reason. His duty is to get rid of soul shifters, so he couldn’t allow himself to slay others but let her live. It would go against his own word. Isn’t that obvious? 😒
Is this season really not worth it? All these comments are keeping me questioning myself
It certainly is worth it. People just don’t have good comprehension skills, and some of the plot is inferred but they expect everything to be served to them on a platter.

I definitely recommend it.
