Jang Uk for 8 episodes never managed to recognize (discover or suspect) that she could be Naksu even, after NUMEROUS…
That’s not true. Every time Jin Buyeon acted like Naksu, he kept either saying that she was driving him crazy or confusing him (because he kept seeing his dead lover in the actions of his very alive wife). His eyes would get large, he’d stop whatever he was doing just to check Buyeon was still Buyeon, because of the crazy similarities. It’s called subtlety and not feeding everything on a platter to the viewer. It’s an art which is unfortunately on the brink of disappearing from dramas and films altogether

Questions, what is the point of the stone grave that Jang Uk made? Why does he build one everytime he killed a…
In Ancient China and Korea, they used stone towers instead of one single grave stone like they do in the west. I believe that’s his way of commemorating the dead he has slayed. Those bodies once belonged to somebody else after all, before their souls got forcefully removed from the body through the Alchemy of Souls.

In the drama Island, the ML also creates gauges stone towers to commemorate the dead he’d killed.

I can't remember at all, can someone tell me why Jin Bu Yeon is in Naksu's body? I am only at ep 1 I feel like…
For the body to be saved, Naksu’s memories had to be wiped out. That way her soul could achieve harmony with the body. To heal the petrified body, Naksu’s soul energy was used. Her body reflected the visage of the soul energy it used.

I’ve watched both seasons, but the second season has got loads of favourite moments of mine that I like rewatching. My withdrawal symptoms are so bad, that I’ve gone from reading fanfics to writing them lmao

I think if they avoided having the FL be romantically involved with the ML at all, it would’ve been a much better story. It’s quite fun and entertaining, but her feelings for him just feel fake beyond belief. At least he’s a good enough actor to make it seem somewhat believable. Sigh

Thankfully, the second couple is on fire! I love those two love birds <3

Why is the FL not with the SML?

She has no chemistry with the ML, which is crazy because PSJ usually has very good chemistry with his costars. Even the ML & SML have more chemistry smh

withdrawals from aos is no joke, I been going through all the korean historicals and none have come close
I feel you. I’m in exactly the same position. Hearing is fun but not even a tenth as enticing.

Watched this drama for her first time pretty much a decade late. Though the hairdo and some attires are a bit meh, everything else was very nice and entertaining. I recommend the drama 👍👍

I really can't move on from this. Anyone got reccomendations of something close to this? The withdrawal is real
Same here. I have tried watching a few period dramas after this one, and they just seem so bland in comparison… sigh

I’m now rewatching the drama with my husband. He likes it so far.
