personally, I found it disappointing that the bad guys get to live free as well, he might call the cops on the…
I get what you’re saying, I was very invested in his reincarnations and was most desperate to get at least some glimpses on their lives, but his lessons were hard earned.
It wasn’t just about begging, he literally won the Death’s game. Only after realising the error of his ways and also winning the game, did he have the opportunity to beg. Until then no amount of begging would’ve or could’ve worked. Not to mention, that Death gave him a Russian Roulette choice, whether luck was on his side or not was entirely up to God. However, he still had to earn that extra bullet.
I think that given that he remembered everything, the skills he got also remained inside of him. It is still very likely that he’d go after the bad guys, his girlfriend would be killed otherwise.
As commented on part 1: Absolutely fantastic! Watched it with my husband. The both of us found the acting top notch, and the plot was written so well. I got very much emotionally invested in every single reincarnation of the ML. Great drama, definitely recommended!

MMH's original work is not a webtoon, but a web novel. The webtoon you're talking about is not the original MMH.
Given that the drama creators themselves are using the webtoon character images to promote their show, I think it’s safe to say that they are indeed adapting the webtoon. So they obviously failed with the ML casting.
I’ve finally finished watching it. I really loved the drama. I found almost all of the characters endearing and their journeys meaningful and relatable. I definitely recommend it. Granny Xie is my most favourite character, she’s awesome ❤️
