oh, that's interesting. Well yes but storywise the older dramas fare better than the newer ones most of the time. So maybe they will try to focus more on the story rather than the visuals, it may be interesting to see what happens. Chances are this is a short term trend that will turn around yet again given time. Or maybe other sources of money can be found.

I am not to keen on brother loves sister stories as I find this sort of thing distatesful and wrong but some of the others may be nice to check out sometime, though it seems like our tastes differ greatly, difference can be very enrichening ^^ and you;ve done a great job describing them! in fact, you wemt out of your way to offer details o the stories. Sure, I'm 27 :-) Try watching lovely complex the anime, is very funny. I've seen parts of live action but anime is better developed overall. ohh and Kaichou wa maid sama if you haven't seen it yet. It's also very nice for a romcom. well i still want to give ace attorney a try (did you see the film?) but I also like to play from time to time. for console games it's mostly harvest moon that I used to play and still ocasionally do, that game series is an incredible time waster. well rooftop prince was fair enough. Maybe you could try Queen inheyon's man if you like cute romances, it;s also a time travel fusion saegul and you may find leads adorable.

Hi Compay. Yes, I have been out of drama world for a while because I got tired of the pretentiousness of kdramas and got overall bored with them and then I was way too busy. I'm back and watching Sword and Flower at the moment. Well I think this was based more on chilling romance and the characters were too much resembling other hong sister dramas. that'a all they can do, rehash and recycle. I don't think they will be able to create something trully original. I felt Gumiho was entertaining and fresh enough but that's probably their only drama that tried to have some inventiveness. Lately all they do is being rather lazy- all they do is try to sell. It appears to be working since the drama had very high ratings in Korea.

Uwazam ze to niezla drama z tego co do tej pory widze - 5 odcinkow ale zascheca mnie do skonczenia i Km Ok bin to dla mnoe jakies odkrycie. Rezyser fakt bardzo sie stara poza tym co mi sie podoba to to ze do tej pory nikogo nie ocenia, nie pokazuje w czrnych lub bialych barwach. Szkoda ze nikt sie na dramie nie poznal, ale to chyba saeguki ogolnie radza sobie slabo ostatnio bo ludzie moga byc juz zmeczeni tematem, aalebo liczy na odbior zagraniczny. Sub jest pozabwiony ekspresji ale coz, pasuje do rol a la Do Ko jin z The greatest Love, i juz wole Suba niz dok Go Jin. Historia jak to historia, wiecej sie po siostrach nie mozna spodziewac.

well masters sun was a typical hong sisters drama. you can enjpy some parts of it if you have very low expectations. it was watchable overall. I did like the ghost stories. K"m glad you enjpyed Hanzawa so much :D It is very encouraging :)

I have a feeling it may be so because he clearly left him with his mother in order to make sure he DOESN'T get entaangled in all this. But fate does its own work and here he is, entangled in all the problems his father problably wished to protect himn from.

Yeah, it was imbalanced that way but overall a good example of a typical japanese drama and what japanese dramas do best. Actually I am now watching episode 6 of Sword and Flower. lol. I sort of really got into Sword and Flower now. The story has become pure Romeo and Juliet but it doesn't seem to be passing judgments on anyone, instead ponders whether fate is something predestined or chosen. Good call there. I have to say all the pauses and silences work so well for this drama to enhance the feelings between characters. I love Ok Bin acting, so fresh in comparison to many Korean actresses; she's authenthic. I think I'll be even more invovled in the story now. The first two eps were difficult to get through because they overdid the camerawork.

and Kim Ok Bin is a real revelation to me!!!

well i wouldn;t call king2hearts your average political drama, it's more fairy tale like to me. I will be curous to read your comments afterwards :) ah yes, I heard of it. Do you play console/handheld games then? Yeah I am in MAL, but rarely these days. I quite liked Tegami Bacchi since the story had..literally..a heart. For favourite animes I have a sort of less mainstream taste. monster, Terra E, Steins Gate - these are my top three animes. But I also liked lovely complex and otazura na kiss because they were endearing. For dramas I like serious stories- dramas, family drama as well as saeguks and any kind of comprehensive films and stories that pick up on a lot of such elements. My top drama of the moment is Tonbi 2013, King3Hearts is still one of my favourites too. But I"m mopre into japanese dramas oberall I think. What about yourself?

AWWWWW how sweet :D I'm busy too but it seems I managed to return to dramaland at last! Just watched a couple of things and I seem to be really back!

It seems so haha :P But then I also watched Soratobu Kouhoshitsu in between. A good story, have to say, but the execution could have been better, it felt draggy at times, but I really liked the characters, especially the Chef and the female PR officer who had issues with being a woman in all male unit. As for General Yun, it seems to me that he is treating his son as a pawn in his games. He's manipulative bit I can't really say if that's a good or bad thing, I think the drama does a great job not judging anyone so far. Kim ok Bin is a revelation and the story is evolving in a the genuine Korean Rome and Juliet tale. I buy!

Really impressed with her in Sword and Flower. She's an authenthic actress, very natural, unlike a lot of other Korean actresses. At least she shows a lot of promise.

By the way as for Sword and GFlower..so far so good. The first two episodes overdid it with the camerawork/cinematography, much as it is refreshing to see a drama which tries to be more deliberate. But what's with the rockish music?! doesn't fit but the story seems to be developing and catching on. Kim Ok Bin is wonderful and so is Uhm Tae Wong. His father is really a man of few words though, difficult to read him. In one moment I think he's up to no good, five minutes later it looks like he's acting out of concern for his son. But what I think is that he wants to use him for his political games. I feel really sorry for UTW, he has become a pawn. Have a great Monday!
