I think in that case it's emotions and personal preference for Chill Bong taking over viewers because I don;t understand it either.

Yes, such a fresh approach, especially for a k-drama, but as far as I see TvN dramas really try to move away from the heavy slant of dramas broadcasted by major stations. Their romcoms tend to be romcoms, not melodramatic romcoms lol.

You know I think one thing they managed to succeed in is that this drama will always have emotions running high for new viewers, unless they get bored with the prolonged guessing game which can be the case esp. considering ep length. No other drama seems to have had as intense ship wars either. I was actually a little put off watching it initially but I"m glad I did.

I did like the structure though and how it went back between the past and the present since it was about recalling how they got where they are. If I have one problem then again it is to do with the fact that both girls have very non-descript generic jobs. But then I wonder if it's really so important given the fact the drama had a very concrete focus.

Well i guess no drama can be perfect but this was was pretty darn good especially with all the bondng going on. There was a lot of warmth and nothing really that happened in a dramatic fashion, just kind of normal.

He had importance for the story and his own development. Well, Thrash kind of did try to be the son they lost because of the kind of guy he is. He's considerate and rather thoughtful. But still he had his parents too.

It's true that towards the end they just dragged things out too much.


They could have given more given more space to Chil Bong actually meeting his wife. They only showed her like in the last split second of the show. They threw that in as an after thought, i thought. I tought though that she was cute and could have also been used more in the series. More of her would have been nice. The episodes also didn't develop naJeong as a proper character: what happened with her career ambitions? There were none Again when she started to look for a job, it was just a plot contrivance without much depth.

But his presence there was necessary not just as a meree love triangle. In fact I personally never felt there was a love triangle since NaJeong was focused on Thrash and the drama developed their stable relationship. Chillbong respected that too and he engaged in a fair battle though he ultimately coneded deafeat.

And no matter what, they were all friends and I felt chill bong and Thrash had a healthy but supportive rivalry. It was ChillBong who helped Thrash realise how much he has to lose if he simply fears things, though there was much at stake, especially because Thrash tried to be considerate towards NaJeong's parents. I liked that and i think CB was utilised in an okay manner as a supportive character.

:D Have fun with Jaimie then but I think it may a good idea to eat something while watching a food show XD

well there are two anime adaptations. One focuses on Cosette. The other on Jan Valjean. Maybe you may find them likeable. I think they did pretty well with Cosette, don't know about the other one. Have a lovely Sunday ^^

Is the manga still ongoing? I wish those long mangas stopped serialization. I want Skip Beat to finish too :-: I tried watching Mawaru Pendigrum but it sorta scared me a little. It as an intriguing storyline, though, with some things to think abou so I will definitely get backk to it. It;s just that the first experience was like meeting a Clown in a dark space: takes you by surprise in a scary way.

Primer was a very interesting interactive book concept. Holograms appeared and the books was voiced by an actress, live, It was like having a live seyuu all the time XD Lucky Princess Nell.
