I actually feel sorry for love rain..it is too underrated and the emotions are beautiful, especially the older generation.

some beautiful emotions here. beautiful stories about various loves. JGS somehow manages to pull it off- the story is working to his favour here, but the father is my favourite character. They expanded on The Classic, essentially, with a few modifications. It's a very nice story and gives off such a nice feeling all over. I feel sympathy for all characters, the OST and directing are very pleasant- they create a special feel to the drama. JGS still has a looong way to go before he can call himself a good actor. I like it overall, though. I especially like the father.

he's dealing with the role very well in the drama and i feel some beautiful emotions in this drama, it's so difficult for everyone involved. I am also happy to see father-son storyline. The relationship is strained bt hopefully will improve later on. It really is a beautiful story- but then so was Classic, except here the father and mother both live and there is some extra drama, but nothing too bad, mostly just some beautiful feelings or tormented feelings. I think you would feel sorry for JGS' character's mom in this version. AND JGS himself gets along quite well with the lead actress. I think I like it because the feelings that the story has are so beautiful, the scriot has been handled quite well in this. So what are you up to today?

Good morning Edinaa! Havedn't seen Dolly yet, I should one day, the Romanian films may be more difficult to access, but I may go for the animated movie when I am in the mood for it :) In the meantime, I am watching Love Rain now and I am seeing some beautiful emotions. I really like it.

In the meantime I am watching Love Rain and I like the story, it's far richer than The Classic and I like the characters, even though they are making mountains out of a molehill..but still, i see some beautiful emotions.

^_^ It certainly is not unwatachable but it may be very annoying of you feel strongly about some issues, but it can also be seen as cute and sexy. I'd say give it a try, you can always drop it. The only reason I kept up with it was for Kim Ming Jung's character. I'm glad to hear that. SUFBB I really liked, it's a great friendship story. I liked the characters and their friendship a lot. I am now watching love rain and it's quite nice too.

No, I didn't know Park Yong Woo before JJW either and I hacven't seen much of him in other works since then, he's not very popular- or rather his works seem to be doing so so. But he did so well in that role... I never understood why the drama was passed over for awards, they really deserved some. But then again drama awards have their own rules, somtimes probably needing power and connections.
Where did you watch Eyes of Dawn? I think part of the problem is it;s an old drama and rather difficult to find. It's still sitting on my PTW lists, I am hoping to watch it one day. Song Ji Na is a pretty good writer, I've seen her What's Up? I quite liked it and it had some lovely music. I don't think I'll be going for Faith, which she also authored, though. Fusion saeguks tend to be a hit or miss Arang and the Magistrate for one was for me really boring. Except for nice heaven settings.

Yes, I am hoping GU family book will be entertaining. Did you watch the original drama and movie on which TWTWB is based on? Right now Love rain is pretty good for me, I am not a fan of the young lead actor there but it's all right the story is quite nice, I find, since it's based on "the classic. Oh, where are you with Queen SeonDuk?

I find it hard not to love that drama. It was uniquely creative and well told-stands out from a dozen of others. Love saeguks myself but I feel like I've completed most of the ones I feel I could like and which seem to be defining for the genre in some way. At some point all the different period dramas just become one big saeguk, in a way, which is both good and bad. I am looking forward to watching Jang Ok Jung, though. I hear a lot of good about TEN, I think I may try it even though I'm not so much into procedurals. I like my dramas to be sort of "have it all stories" as much as possible as a general rule, I am currently trying to start watching Love Rain and am in the midst of the Windy Drama, which is ending this week. The more you watch the dramas the more it becomes difficult to find the ones that really hit the spot, but I'm hoping for the best for the remainder of the year
