his own romance was precisely what I thought should have had more background. So basically it;s about four guys who find love interests and aboit their friendship, but Jang Dong Gun;s character is given the most screen time. There is very little significant development of characters. It's a piece of fluff. I hope this helps. :) Ohh there are also two younger cute guys to look at and that's about all, really.

Hi Winnie, hello! Haha, sounds like a plan to me. It really depends. A gentleman;s dignity can be a lot of fun to some, as it;s a bout four guys in 40s who have great chemistry together- and there is quite enough of the bromance. However, eventually the four guys get their love stories and the main couple takes up most of the screen time. The main lead woman is also annoying to me as she is a bit of a pants chaser- well she is really determined to hang to the main guy, who at one point even acts as a noble idiot. The other guys have actually more interesting romances but they are not given enough screen time or proper background, which is a shame. I found some aspects of presenting these women quite offensive. But if you like cute, you may find this story very cute, but it gets old fast and i ended up being annoyed with it. My favourite character was Kim Min Jung's character but

Indeed. lol, yes, they really could have used that time in a more constructive way. Sometimes I am overgenerous with ratings at firt view because of the immediate feeling a drama leaves me with. Later on reflection comes with a bit of time distance and I actually am forced to reevealuate some of the ratings I had given. Tatta is one example. But as long as the ending is in tune with overall tone of the drama it doesn't affect me quite as much. SSo what kind of dramas do you find yourself drifting towards most frequently?

well I don't think it was unromantic, because in a way it was: I think they wanted to make it romantic- him running towards the bus after reading the letter, what's unromantic about the man stopping her at the klast minute before losing her forever- i think it's this kind of thinking that led writers for this finale. In this case I just felt there was lack of comunication whatsoever, she was shouting at some point while he was pouting - they weren't understanding each other, and the whole thing ended with a letter and dramatic running towards the bus. That's why I felt it was a little unjustified, especially that in the past episodes they did seem to try and work things out. Japanese dramas tend to have a more down to earth kind of ending and I personally really like that, in this case, though, I felt the ending was half-baked even for a japanese drama.

Hi! Hello there! not at all! well, these days in general I think I may have been a little over generous to the drama. I like it, it has good ambience, the story overall was nice and I felt genuine sense of difficulties sometimes, I liked the attitude of the lead, he even went to her dad to make things open. The ending was a little lacking, though, there was a lot going on in the final episode. I felt like they were playing cat and mouse with each other again, one making decisions, the other pouting, and then the relationship was saved by a letter? They should talk things out, and they weren't really communicating at some point. I think sometimes drama writers are really getting desperate to try to be original in leading to a happy ending. But overall I liked it.

it's pretty good, actually, though there are moments which i feel are completely misplaced, like the ping pong maths with completely unrealistic cheesy insert-animation. I quite like the lead and how he tries to motivate everyone. but i haven't finished it yet.

i had a look, it doesn't even look nice. I think I"m too used to the taiwanese version, and if anyone I really see Joe and Ariel as the epitome of these two, they doid so well, erven though the story is...well, not so nice.

don't get too depressed about this, Yeona. We all need a little bit of fiction in our lives ti brighten our days so let's just stick to fiction :) they do give us nice characters and plots to relate to it;s the characters rather than actors themselves we can invest more emotions into, they offer a little bit of relief. This is also why I dislike behind the scenes specials- I am not really interested in the actors, I am interested in the characters and the stories they portray.

I think we have to verify our expectations a little. They are still interesting to follow- in terms of ideas they have for fictional stories. I think of celebrities as fictional characters too, no matter where they come from, it;s just that they are not quite what we poctured them to be. Thy are like people everywhere. They make the same mistakes. The celebrity culture is the same as everywhere else. I thing things are fine as long as we accept this.

I don't think it;s so much a matter of culture when it comes to actor but a matter of image. They are doing it on purpose. celebrities everywhere are really much the same...except in Korea it has been really kept under control, or so it seems. They have much to lose. As for Koreans hunting down, not sure this would apply in all circumstances. I think maybe it;s because there is a need or greed for perfection. Korean women want to look perfect-my friend lived in Korea that's what he tells me at least.

True enough and I don't disagree. But I'm not going to justify him. A man is a a man but should be a GENTLEMAN. Better yet, he should have a permanent girlfriend. This really marred his image. The worst thing is we will not know the absolute truth ever so we can only speculate. However, this is the very reason i don't like idol worship.they are constructed by media, we don't know what attitude they have to life in reality, and fans can be just as well led on a string and be told anything just to keep the mythical image alive. This is a lesson for management companies as well, to keep their buisness inside. It is still possible his previous company has had a hand in all this.

Just news on koala's blog. Well there is a site called parsihoo4u were everyone goes so far as to compare him to Jesus Christ, they are making a martyr fgure out of him, I think this is what makes me really angry. IF he's guilty, he deserves it. What do you mean by culture? I don't think it's only a matter of culture, but of basic human ethics. Besides, ollywood stars do the same, except it's more of a sad "norm" in hollywood. http://koalasplayground.com/2013/04/01/police-officially-announce-park-shi-hoo-failed-lie-detector-test-and-will-likely-be-indicted-for-rape/ I am interested to know how it will all end.

Also, I am angry because some of the fans seem to be saying he was entitled to a one night stand on his birthday. I can't believe I am reading this- this is perpetuating sterotypes and treating women as playthings. Makes me angry. If the woman A was more pronounced on this issue then I would have less of a problem with it, but..... fasct is we will NEVEr know. it;s ridiculous. and all the lawyers are doing is resort to dirty tactics.

That's good to hear. :)
You know what, I"m ceasing to be bothered by someone who is stupid enough not to respect his own work, the work of his PR reps. Even his family is trying desperate to cover up for HIS mess. I won't even bother with this movie or any of his possible future work, if there is any. I've been rewatching The princess man lately, he really isn't that good of an actor anyway, there are far far better actors in the industry. But I hope he learned a lesson. I am still curious to see how this case will end, police is being ery inefficient, have they been bribed perhaps to create further mess? The guy makes me angry. And his super defensive fans even more so- by creating this mess in the first place he btrayed them too.

Apologies for the typos...I sometimes write really fast and so make errors. I really liked how the main character grew by the end of the drama. Yes, I seem to be floating towards saeguks lately. I haven;t watched tree with deep roots yet but I will eventually. Horse Doctor was really nuce ad Yi san as a character captured my heart. I would hope so too, Sunflower, these characters do deserve a bit of sunshine and hope in their lives after all the winter wind blowing, so to speak. But I think Kim Bm;s role is too similar to that of in padam and less significant. He deserves some lead roles too.
