I never knew I can get a birthday gift in the first year from Himuro o.o wow, this must require a LOT of grinding. The thing is that there are stat penalities for raising other stats. I really don't like that. Well at least you don;t loose as much as when you get sick. You know I"m too shy with Himuro as a player. I never ask him to go home, never do the skinship. haha I think if I was the character we'd never end up together XD Green-hair, ah, the mushroom head XD. He was pretty persistent. I think i gave up on the library.

The brass band raised intelligence and I could always switch to study with the rival for mushroom head. Ultimately I think this game is hard-work. All this talk has made me want to replay it but when I think of all the stat grinding and bombs "dramatic sigh" :D I am REALLY tempted to look out for Tokimeki 3 then. Despite all the complaining I did like the characters in Tokimeki and wished to see this game done in a different format so I could enjoy more choosing and less grinding.

I think they just wanted to come up with some sort of "mirror story" that Anne would bring up a child like she herself was raised. But then I"m not sure what happened to a child they adopted in the continuing story. Perhaps those movies are completely separate. Yeah Gil and Anne in the movie have adorable chemistry together. Don;t worry Gilbert doeasn;t die in the continuing story so if you're ever curious about it, go ahead and watch. There was another movie after the Continuing Story with Shirley MacLaine in which Gilbert wasn;t even shown bit proclaimed dead.

Yes they did make a visual novel choose your man game XD I can't remember the tile but I know they have made one and that you aren't crazy :D OH! I know, it was called Matches and matrimony XD Oh I liked the man in the iron mask, it has good feel to it. Tin Man was either hallmark or sy fy or however sci fi channel is called. The setting was kind of steam-punkish ut they had a good cast. I particularly liked Alan Cunning as scarecrow aka Glitch. Interesting spin, really.It was a mini-series which started a whole series of Oz retellings.

I also saw Himuro taking me to the shrine on the new year's and I think he did ultimately give me a birthday gift, but I don't remember so I'm not sre if there was supposed to bre any other gift? haha but what I found hilarious was the option to cook ramen for him XD of course he wouldn't approve. I like the fact that you had to dress up though- that feature was really neat. oh but regarding "true" endings what makes it worse is that in the beginning it is CLEARLY shown which guy is meant to be the true ending. They could have made THAT less obvious and endings a bit more defined.

ahaha. he was entirely ridiculous and completely lacked credibility in "school" days. And there was a scene early on which was meant to be emotional (he took the girl off the stage because she was having a hard time) and there was this conversation that SHOULD have given the flutters but instead made roll my eyes. I knew then that something was amiss. It was episode 2 I think. Too bad, the ideas were really good.

That's exactly what I didn't like. I never pursue more than one guy in these games because I don't like to lead them on but really now Tokimeki FORCEd it on me. I had to date them from time to time to appease them? Frustrating. Are you talking about Himuro's CHristmas gift? I think I got something from him in the third year when he was already in tokimeki or near to tokimeki state. I can't remember. He also took me to his secret place. I was so RELIEVED when I managed to get everything on time. I was half afraid I would get Kei's ending because of some stats- scary thought XD But Valentine's minigame didn't help. I couldn't get that cake right because it appears I am directionally challenged so I always took the opposite movement to what was shown -.- haha, he is an extremely difficult man to court but seeing him squirm a little was a delight.

I'm afraid you're correct about Gill. It didn't happen in the third movie, but the fourth one. They said he dies in the war I believe. In any case Shirley MacLaine's Anne was now raising ONE child alone, someone who reseblmed her I believe. Ridiculous. I don;t think I finished watching that one. Even third film was ridiculous. The first two movies followed the books more or less. The third one no longer did but Gilbert and Anne were still so attractive, they had good cast but really I thought I'd cry myself to death seeing what "plot" they had in mind. Death comes...whaaat?! what nonsense is that. I feel the same way about Lost in Austen- a gir from the present goes into Austen world and falls in love with Darcy. in other words an adaptation about what;'s it like to be a fangirl of Mr Darcy. (Why not Colonel Brandon :P)

It's pure pretentious escapism. But there are some creative retellings like Tin man based on wizard of Oz. I kinda liked that one. Three musketeers in the most recent version is no longer three musketeers. They intended it to be as some sort of fantasy adventure. I couldn;t even look. I erased it from my memory. But then again the recent retellings of Snow white can also raise an eyebrow. But I do think these velong to a different category. Just like prime Minister and I did a spin on 1001 night.

I did :D But I got most of it and what happened. It wasn't terrible but I was really disappointed with the cast. The script was faulty at times too. But Lee Sung Min;s charavter was nice and his chemistry with another woman character was great. I really liked how it tried to address the question of how to make a relationship work when male prode is at stake because the woman is doing better in life i e is smarter or more successful overall, but it wasn't to deep. But it wasn't terrible either despite its flaws.

MacLaine had no Gillbert at all, you can try to guess why T.T That wasn't in the books at all as far as I remember them. they changed the storyline, or so I think basing on my hazy memory of the books. I'm not sure whether I entirely agree with what you say about classic adaptations. They sometimes take too much freedom. See for instance the latest adaptation of Three Musketeers.

Oh and back to Miss Korea, I don;t mind a gangaster tyoe lije Lee Sung Min to cook for me :D I think opposites like that are attractivre because they complement each other. This is also another type that I look for in otome games. He was all like "this isn't home because you haven;t cooked in it" that was really sweet. But the kissing scenes they tried to model after American stories- you know the sudden passionate ones..when I was watching them I was really embarassed. There is no need for that. There was enough tension. Sheesh. I worry about Lee Sun gyun. He didn't put his heart into it at all.

Yeah, it bothers me too. You do NOT grind all those stats and go through all that suffering with bombs to have your characters break up -.- I don;t remember them being very explicit. They tried to make it as vague and generic as possible. Which is a mistake. They should know better. Actually I think I liked Himuro better. There is a fanfic writer out there who I think captures his character as I envisage him. Scenes of Lazaregne is one of the fics I read by hear and I kind of liked it. The chemistry teacher reminded me of the teacher from k-drama God of Study I think maybe they modelled one after another haha. Both are crazy XD

You know I think an ending where you get both Tasuki and Chichiri is plausible. But it would be a repeition of Kouran story, potentially. One of them would be friendzoned. But I understand your predicament XD

Well I don't remember the books in much detail now because I last read them 15 years ago 0.0 But I know for sure that there was no love rival fror Gillbert and Gillbert even if he did go to war (I am hazy on that), then he returned shortly. i seem to recall something about him staying on after all because his medical services were needed in the town they moved to (I think they moved from Avonlea later books ) In fact the fourth movie with Shirley

Hi there. Take a good rest now :) It wasn't terrible, to be honest. It had some good ideas bit it was weak on writing and Lee Syung Gyun in particular disappointed me. He used to be much better. But Lee Sung Min was nice. And overall the ideas in the dram WERE interesting but they didn't do it right It was slow and uneventful. I slept too long today.

^_^ I wish I were good at ASCII art. It looks so cool, can be expressive but I can never make it work. Then I'd send you something mroe than simple dot. Are you watching anything these day?

I kind of see what you mean. The story idea is not bad at all but I feel there are issues with script and writing. But overall not bad. I've seen worse dramas.
